Pentateuch Movement is ready to release their latest single, ‘Crime’. Moved by the social situations both yard and abroad, Pentateuch movement speaks openly on the injustices on their culture and island; Jamaica. ‘Crime’ addresses issues of poverty and hardship faced by youths everywhere.
“This song came as a result of the crime situation happening in Jamaica now from the murders to the money laundering and hustling going on, all these are results of the unemployment and illiteracy rate in Jamaica. The song is also a stance against the British government building another prison in our country an we still need to get word on that as a nation.” – Pentateuch Movement
“Cyaa solve crime if the youths dem hungry all the time…cyaa solve crime if the poor man still cyaa find a dime” – Crime single

Today’s new music comes from a Jamaican One Man Band, Scotty + The DreamKillers. Titled “Keep It Rocking” and features a production from JLA, this features a great Michael Jackson sample (Rock With You) while Scotty raps about chasing his dreams, never slowing down on his work, pushing on despite challenges and keeping it rocking. A great effort here and being a Michael Jackson fan I love this production. For clarification, Scotty + The DreamKillers is really a One Man Band where “Scotty” is the rapper and “JLA” is the producer. With a mix of Hip Hop, Rock, Dub, and Reggae, look out for more work from the Band, I know I will. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
It’s been a minute since we’ve gotten new material from Dreggae but today he makes up for lost time. In collaboration with NY based band Annie In The Water. Remixing his “It’s Not Over” track and giving it an acoustic feel with AITW’s Brad Hester and shot by Duane G. of MQ Productions in Little 5 Points in Atlanta, we’re treated to a street performance where Brad plays the tunes and delivers the chorus while Dreggae delivers his lyrics for the people to hear. Love this visual, the location is colourful and the song was well delivered. The only thing missing was a guitar case open for change (haha!). What do you think of the video?
