As far as Producers go, Smoodface is definitely a name to be reckoned with. The Producer extraordinaire has been working tirelessly to establish a credible name for himself in the music industry. Originally from Jamaica, Smoodface migrated to the UK with one intention in mind, and that was to gain more exposure and opportunities through his music. He’s now teamed up with Glendevon Records, who saw his dream and decided to work together, to making this dream into a reality.
Smoodface bridges the gap between Reggae music and Pop music, creating something distinct and equally refreshing. With over 10 years experience in the business, he has delivered a string of hit charting music. His biggest success to date is getting his work playlist on one of the biggest Radio station in the UK, BBC 1XTRA. The songs that made their playlist include “Winter Swag” by Stylo G featuring himself and “Swag Tun Up” by Gappy Ranks featuring Russian, which was a great accomplishment for the producer.
Although he’s known widely as a Producer, Smoodface is also a noted Singer and Songwriter. His latest song “Make She Scream” has been doing tremendously well, especially on the International market and is gaining traction in the Caribbean as well. “So far I am very pleased with the responses that I have been getting, trust me it has been wonderful.”
The video for the single “Make She Scream” is doing very well and can been seen on local television channels such as Hype TV. For the rest of the year, Smoodface will be busy in the studio cooking up a storm to supply the demand for good quality production and music.

A performance by iconic reggae singer Frankie Paul has not been witnessed in Jamaica for quite sometime. Sting 2015 is presenting the very rare opportunity to see the legendary singer.
The Jamworld audience can look forward to oldies party anthems such as: Cassanova, Worries In The Dance, I Know The Score and Sarah, among others.
The ’80s singer welcomed the current Sting theme, ‘From Then Till Now’, revealing, “it’s time for a change. Tired of the same thing. We are the original artistes. Feels wonderful to be on it this year as legends”.
The Jamaican Stevie Wonder as he is affectionately called, said Sting’s “lyrical content and style have changed. Too much war is in the music now and that is not good. Music is life, music is love, music is peace, music is from the Almighty and we are losing that”.
He gives his stamp of approval to, Romain Virgo, Chris Martin, Aidonia, Vershon and Devin Di Dakta. He advises the next generation saying: “They need to slow down. We want conscious music to sing and dance to, music that my grandchildren and great grandchildren can dance to. Take it slow and make it peaceful”.
Frankie Paul is happy to have contributed to the industry. “I got the chance to teach people. I taught persons how to behave. I taught persons about love and adoration and even how to make babies,” he said.
He admits it has been a very long time since he last hit the stage in Jamaica. These days he gets to enjoy a life of leisure, watching movies, listening to the news, playing instruments, going to the studio and travelling. Next year, he releases a brand new album, In The Arena.

Dancehall Diva Nae Nae steps out and shows the world that she’s more than what meets the eye with her latest single “Fantasy Ride.” The upcoming sensation burst into the scene officially in 2012 and has been riding the airwaves ever since. Nae Nae is known widely for her rambunctious demeanor, and her energetic and vibrant personality; all of which is highlighted in her single and more so in the video.
The erotic single, was produced by Icon Music Group and was made available on all digital platforms by 21st Hapilos Entertainment on October 30 2015. The music video was shot by noted director Wayne South and released on Friday November 13, 2015. In the scenes throughout the video Nae Nae is seen parading seductively and provocatively in lingerie and different skin tight apparel inviting her conquest on a “fantasy ride”.
Due to the suggestive nature of the video it has gotten some harsh backlash. The diva is in strong defense of her material and in response says this will not slow her down in any way or prevent her from releasing other videos of this nature. “I want to be the talked about female artiste in the industry; my music is not the soft ‘girl next door’ type, I like being sexy and sassy”. She explains that many videos have been played on various public television stations with a similar or even more intense sexual appeal and she does not see why people are in awe of my material when others are doing worse by comparison.
In the near future Nae Nae will be releasing some sizzling collaborations with Reddis, Bay C and Dancehall’s newest sensation Razor B.

Earlier today, U.S. Rapper Fabolous premiered his Thanksgiving Mixtape, “Summertime Shootout“. Produced by Sonaro, this features Rapper Rich Homie Quan and listeners were treated to a back and forth between both artists. What listeners didn’t expect though was a closing display of deejaying from Dancehall Artist Konshens. Over the Hot Wax Riddim from the 90s (big up Franz for the reminder), Konshens left a memorable mark on track 7. A bit disappointed that he wasn’t credited on the tape. Fabolous’ Mixtape is now available on Datpiff but you can check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
