Today’s new music comes from Reggae/Dancehall singer Alaine. Titled “Glow” and produced by Washroom Entertainment. on the Bounce & Wave Riddim, Alaine dedicates this to her lover as their love brings a glow in their relationship. This song sounds fun and Alaine does a good job on the song and the chorus. I do hope a music video is being considered for this single for I picture a beach scene and park setting with alot of flashing lights. What do you think? NEW VIDEO: @Hot97 Interviews @RealiOctane

As a part of his trip to New York for a performance at S.O.B.’s on Wednesday, Reggae artist I Octane made a stop at the Hot 97 studio to have a chat with Cipha Sounds and Shawnee Culture. Here Octane spoke on his style of music, his personality, the Reggae culture, Snoop Dogg or rather Snoop Lion, seeing the need to properly market a Reggae/Dancehall artist, and many other topics. I Octane also gave a brief performance for the listeners. Good to see I Octane on a big station like Hot 97, it’s also great when stations like them play many of our songs. Titled “Fi Di Jockey” and directed by Michael Burbridge and BiggzShip, we see Aidonia hosting a contest with ladies competiting in areas such as mechanical bull riding, and doing various dance moves to win the judges’ votes.
