NEW VIDEO: @RealiOctane – Prison Life

Posted on October 18, 2015 by swadedavillain

The bad man life is never nice, it’s either you lose your life in the streets or end up in prison and today I-Octane heeds warning to those living above the law in the visual to a single that could possibly be a part of 2015’s top 20 songs. “Prison Life” was directed by Bling Blang Productions and The Board and kicks off with a prisoner’s poem followed by Octane spreading the message and depicts scenes of “prison life” played by talent such as Majah Bless. Given Octane’s delivery, it was only fitting that he performed a song like this as he gives listeners a picture while Bling Blang and The Board brought it to life. Look out for I Octane as he’s currently on tour in Europe! Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @RealIOctane x @TheAlkaline x @Mavado_Gully – Above Them

Staying higher than mountains today are I Octane, Alkaline and Mavado. In what a few would call an unlikely combination comes “Above Them“. Produced by DJ Frass Records, we hear the trio speak on elevating themselves, looking back at their struggles, achieving success and laughing at those who try to stop them. Interesting to hear these three on one track, but they make it work over a dope DJ Frass production. Three artists who respect each other’s work, and one track that I believe will be a hot one this year. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

With their single burning up the airwaves (and causing some controversy), I Octane and Vanessa Bling teamed up to bring you the Music Video for “Cyaa Do It“. Directed by Sasha Bling, we see the artists making moves to see each other on the low while maintaining their current relationships. A very clean and fun video here and it depicts how some people do get sneaky in their relationships. Nobody haffi know baby. What do you think of this? Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW VIDEO: @KabakaPyramid – Never Gonna Be A Slave

Posted on April 25, 2014 by swadedavillain

Accurate! Today Kabaka Pyramid released the visual for a single that has been making its rounds. The DJ Frass produced “Never Gonna Be A Slave“, which was directed by Eric Christian King and shot in Kingston, Kabaka speaks on not being a slave to the system, never selling out on his beliefs, how people suffer in the system, discrimination, and promoting consciousness. Very good video here and I like the shots where Kabaka is on top of the building and when he’s interacting with people. “The fire burning immaculate“.
