.@PopcaanMusic’s “Firm And Strong” Featured In New @ForceStarz Episode!

One thing with Jamaicans, we’ll show up anywhere. Recently, the team behind the “Power” series on Starz launched the 4th chapter called, “Force“. The new series follows Tommy Egan on his new journey filled with crime, drama, and action. For their 3rd episode, a familiar sound from Jamaica made an appearance.

In the closing minutes of “Power Book IV: Force” episode 3, Popcaan’s 2018 hit single, “Firm And Strong” was the featured track. The single was produced by Dre Skull, and was included on Popcaan’s sophomore album, “Forever“. The Power series is no stranger to featuring Jamaican music as Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” and Lady Saw’s “Strip Tease” were included in “Power Book II: Ghost” and the original “Power” respectively. Will there be more Jamaican hits featured in “Power”? Stay tuned, and stay firm and strong!

It has been a splendid year for Popcaan. From releasing his sophomore album, killing it with the singles, to sold out shows and an unforgettable Unruly Fest, the icing on the cake was him finally signing to Drake’s OVO Sound. While we know 2019 will be crazier for him, he had to give us one more thing to keep the energy going. While his “Forever” album gave us some hits, folks have been feeling his “Dun Rich” single with Nigerian star Davido. Today, we get the official music video! Shot in Lagos, Nigeria, not only are the Artists fresh to death and doing their thing here, but some powerful, talented, and beautiful women were featured here and blessed us with their presence. With Dre Skull handling the production, these were premiered earlier on Apple’s Beats 1 Radio. One was made for the Caribbean beauties and cuties to wine to, while the other was made for those who are trying to stay above the stress, negativity, and drama. The Hip Hop culture continues to influence the youth in Jamaica, and it opens up a different side to their creativity. Kyraxx is one of those who the culture has influenced, and has been showcasing it through various channel. His latest single, “With You, was produced by IOTOSH, and released through their Sound Ting Label. On the track, Kyraxx goes on the melodic vibe as he talks about getting it in and wanting to make things happen with this young Lady. With a Production that you can’t help but rock to, Kyraxx easily tackles it as he speaks on his situation.
