They can lock up the deejay, but him music remains free. Going under the moniker, “Addi Innocent“, Vybz Kartel drops “My Love My Love“. Produced by Bigga Dondon Records, the World Boss goes into R&B mode and sings about looking for love and not wanting to be alone. Every thug needs a lady, and given his current situation that’s not a bad thing. What do you think of the new song? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

This is another Gully x Gaza collaboration! After dropping the music video recently, Popcaan teamed up with Mavado to release the “Everything Nice” remix. Produced by Dubbel Dutch, we hear Popcaan and Mavado make a dedication to living life to the fullest, enjoying your hard work and making it from nothing to something. They both held their own on the remix and if you know how music videos are, you could tell Mavado would be on a remix. Is Ace Hood doing a remix as well? Popcaan’s debut album, “Where We Come From” is scheduled to release in June. What do you think of this song? Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
With Vybz Kartel seeing life in prison, many members of the music fraternity expressed their thoughts on the situation. Twin of Twins however expressed that Kartel was used as a scapegoat and they went on Onstage to further expound on that and more. Here they spoke about violence in Jamaica, the justice system, encouraging the media to promote positive things and stop bashing Dancehall music, and their new project which includes an extension of their “Stir It Up” series. Not a bad interview here, the twins have always spoken out against many things that happen in society whether in interviews or through their mixtape, and encouraging upliftment of the people. Given that today is “Throwback Thursday” for some, why not bring my readers back in time with one of Vybz Kartel’s last performances before being apprehended by the law. Performing at Reggae Sumfest 2011, Vybz, along with Sheba, Popcaan, Gaza Slim, Tommy Lee Sparta, and Shawn Storm, performed a slew of hits and brought a lot of energy to the event. For many, this would’ve been the last time they’ve seen Vybz Kartel perform live. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
He may be the “World Boss“, but Vybz Kartel has always been a family man and following in his musical footsteps today are two of his sons. With the help of Short Boss Muzik, Little Vybz (Jaheim) and Little Addi (Raheim) formed the duo PG13 and released their debut single, “Gimmi Di Money“. Here they speak on making money, how they spend it, shouting out their father and promoting “bere goodness“. What do you think of the debut effort from them? Only time will tell if they’ll be as good as their dad. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
