Plotting on a come up the Sons Of Liberty finally dropped their long awaited mixtape. Titled “Escape Theory“, this is a 13 track set of hard hitting lyrics and production by the collective. Featuring production by King Biggs, Heatwave, RipTide, and haYze and verses from all members, this is a project that was 7 years in the making. Recorded at Phillip Myers’ studio, they were able to bring us music from the soul, their form of expression without restriction or control. Today’s new music comes from The Sons Of Liberty members Hayze, King Biggs and 5 Star. Titled “Greener Pastures” and produced by DJ Heatwave, the rappers talk about a young lady who dropped her mother’s ambitions for her to go to school for the fast life. In her endeavors to chase fame and fortune she went through some rough times that made her look back on her decisions. In the end throughout her sadness and regrets she took her own life.
