Fame is a helluva drug, and it comes at a high price. While many wish to reach that larger than life level, sometimes it costs friendships, family, and even morals. Many who have done everything to achieve fame later regretted it. Tonight we’re not gonna get too preachy, it’s all about the music coming from Jamaican born, Bronx based, Hood Celebrityy. Grabbing the reigns of French Montana’s “Famous“, she tackles it with her blend of Dancehall/Hip Hop. Highlighting how people treat you when you’re famous, she adds that they’ll never love you as well as those who genuinely care for you. The track was produced by Rico Love, DTownThaGreat, and DanjaHandz, and the original is featured on French’s “Jungle Rules” Album. Previewed earlier on a few Radio stations locally and overseas, it was met with mostly positive reviews. Fame can really change a person, stay home with me. Today’s new video comes from Andrew Trabass and Lincoln 3Dot. Titled “FAME” and directed by Dante Hillmedo, we hear the artists speaking on fame and all that comes with it and see them being shot in various locations. Not a bad effort here as the song is already good and I like that clips from them being at events were shown. Do it for the VLOG! Fame is a drug, and while many can succumb to its allure, sometimes the people who were there with you before it all get lost in the process. With that said Andrew Trabass and Lincoln 3Dot are doing their best to never fall victim to it with their new song. Titled “FAME“, they speak about gaining popularity (and the things that come along with it) but also making sure the ladies in their lives are beside them to benefit and more. Lincoln has been receiving alot of buzz lately with his songs in Jamaica and we know Trabass as one of the go to comedians from Jamaica. Today’s new music comes from Canadian Rapper Kardinal Offishall and Trinidad’s Bunji Garlin. Titled “Famous” and produced by Ricky Blaze, we hear the two artists letting the ladies know that rolling with them may make them famous and they also tell their experiences with ladies who approached them before knowing that they’re famous. Good effort by the rapper and Soca artist, nice flow by Bunji as well. The hook sounds radio ready and this is a fun production by Ricky Blaze. Come and say hi, you know i’m famous. What you think of the song? Check it out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Today’s new music comes from The Sons Of Liberty members Hayze, King Biggs and 5 Star. Titled “Greener Pastures” and produced by DJ Heatwave, the rappers talk about a young lady who dropped her mother’s ambitions for her to go to school for the fast life. In her endeavors to chase fame and fortune she went through some rough times that made her look back on her decisions. In the end throughout her sadness and regrets she took her own life. Good song, not bad on the story telling, and the beat takes a cue from Biggie’s “I got a story to tell“. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
