.@FVRFVN & Khal-XL Trek Through The “Lonely Road” On New Track!

Trini artist FVRFVN is looking to return to music with a bang after taking some time off last year. With production being a welcome addition to his songwriting skillset, he is working on becoming one of the more prominent names in his Island, and soon the rest of the world. Kicking off his 2021, he releases the new track, “Lonely Road“.

FVRFVN showcases his production skills on this as he collaborates with Trini artist Khal-XL. Together they share lyrics about the battles they’ve faced in life, running away from the internal demons, but show that they’re handling it step by step. The Covid 19 pandemic has brought on situations that affect us mentally, and while we’re on a lonely road with them, we just have to do our best to move forward on the road to recovery. FVRFVN looks to follow up “Lonely Road” with more music this year, and he anticipates the addition of new listeners from around the globe. Hang in there, stay strong, and stay safe!

Dropping some Hip Hop vibes courtesy of Chase Soundz today. The HTG Rapper worked on his consistency throughout 2020, and is looking to step it up even more thanks to a bunch of new music he has in the stash. Today we get to check out his latest track, “Feel This“.

Produced by Lethal Needle and featuring Five Steez, the two get into some Boom Bap vibes as they kick bars and flows over some easy going Jazz influenced production. The track marks the 2nd time a member of The Council and HTG collaborate on a track together. The first effort came from Daley and Five Steez’s “All I Know” back in 2020. If all you know is to chase sounds and money, but still ensure your steez is right, then you have to feel this track!

This year marks his 64th birthday, and fans around the world keep his timeless hits in heavy rotation. February 1 also marks the beginning of Reggae Month celebrations in Jamaica. Life is filled with many challenges, but it takes great determination and faith to move forward from them. 2020 has been a challenge for many mentally, but we take it a day at a time. Recording Artist Sekani BRGHTN reflects on his journey, and offers some positive words on his new single, “Do Well (Life)“.

Produced by and featuring Khaje, Sekani BRGHTN looks back at some of the past moments in his life like his migration to the US from Jamaica, dealing with the new life as an immigrant, trying to protect his mental health during challenging times, family issues and more. Despite all his experiences, he understands that there are others who are going through similar situations, and offers some encouragement.

When we asked about the creative process behind the track, he shared, “The idea for the song struck me as I was riding the Train thinking I never really delved into my life as an artist/person, so I did just that thinking of my journey from leaving Jamaica to where I am now knowing there has been similar people in my circumstances and wanted them to know they are not alone in the struggle.” Having made some developments in his creativity within the past couple years, Sekani looks to tackle the new decade with great music, and make his brand grow exponentially worldwide.

Trini Creative Sarkastik Ambassador looks to make 2021 the year he increases his musical output. Having dabbled in other areas last year, we didn’t get to hear much music. Starting off the new year right, he gives listeners an early listen to the track, “Toxic“.

Produced by TDSK Productions and featuring Bajan Singer/Songwriter Rhea Layne, Sark and Rhea get at each other like a fighting couple as they speak about jealousy, insecurity, and plenty toxic behaviours between them. Many couples go through things like this daily, but Sark and Rhea just play it all out in a way that will have couples thinking over things and go forward with resolutions. As mentioned before, this an early listen as Sarkastik Ambassador looks to put some finishing touches and officially release this track later this year. Let us know what you think about it.
