Since March 2025, we premiered a new weekly Playlist called, “What’s On 13th Street?“. Since then, we have featured over 1000 new songs from Artists in and outside the Caribbean. Some are your faves, others are legends in the game, and some newcomers. Please show your support for the Playlist by liking/following it on Spotify, share with your friends regularly, and enjoy!

This week for “What’s On 13th Street?“, Nitty Zulu teamed up with Amerto and Nuru for “Bad Bitch”, Najeeriii dropped his sophomore album “SISU”, Original Koffee closed the Summer with “OVA SO”, Skeng is a “Man Of Prayer”, Dominica’s Litleboy links with Mr. Vegas for “Wap Wap”, UK’s JAE5 calls up J Hus and Skillibeng for “Take Nobody”, and more.

Creativity is key in one’s life. Without it, we are just blank canvases. In music, there are many Creatives who have created whole genres, and built strong movements. The same can be said for Art as well. When these two combine, we get UK’s JAE5 and JHus’ “Take Nobody“.

JAE5 takes the production reigns here with TSB and joins JHus and Skillibeng for an exhibition of music and Art in, “Take Nobody”. The mix of Afrofusion, Dancehall, and Hip Hop is heavy here, and JHus and Skilli have no problem showing off their flows here, and keeping the badness at a certain temperature. The creativity doesn’t end here as they teamed up with Richard Kattah, Ink Industries, and Aigorithm for an action-packed, and comic book styled Animation for the official clip. We see the Artists and Producer in a different light here, and fans of video games and comic books are going to keep this one in their favourites list. Expect new projects from the trio, and maybe we get another collaboration in the future, hopefully with a follow up Animation.

.@OriginalKoffee Finally Releases Her Debut Album, “Gifted”!

Koffee came in like a rapture a few years ago, and her season is still not over. The GRAMMY Award winning Artist has not taken her foot off of the gas, and she has a lot more ground to cover. Since making history with her debut EP, “Rapture“, fans have been anticipating a full length project from her. With high profile collaborations and appearances, plenty singles including “Lockdown” that came at a time where everywhere was on lockdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic, now is the time for Koffee to get in the right lane to make more awesomeness happen. Today, we finally get her debut album, “Gifted“.

Featuring 10 tracks, “Gifted” is the highly anticipated album from Koffee. She continues to show that her music is not boxed in, and she has her way and the stage to truly shine with the various sounds presented. J.L.L., Iotosh, JAE5, Frank Dukes, and Teflon Zincfence are a few of the featured Producers on the album, and Koffee effortlessly delivers on the beats. Plenty samples on here too. While fans may or may not want more songs on this project, we do know that Koffee has a lot more lined up for the world to hear. Will this album be a GRAMMY winning effort come 2023? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we get new Koffee songs!
