Blvk H3ro has come a long way since breaking out in the early 2010s. His career grew at a steady pace thanks to his music highlighting the everyday life of the average man, living life in a positive way, and of course loving the herb. Now with a GRAMMY nomination under his belt, he’s looking to take his name to even more places. He has a lot to be happy about, and he lets you in on it in “Celebration“.

With Lauren Enriquez behind the lens, we see Blvk H3ro connecting with everyone from Industry players, to celebrities, to fans and friends, he is living it up in the moment. H3ro has been busy touring the US since mid-2022, and he has seen what his music has done for him so far. For a number of years, Recording Artist Deep Jahi has been maintaining a career that produced a number of singles that connected with many listeners. Over time he became one of the more respected names out there, and has showcased a style that stood out from everyone else. Now using his time and expertise to help other Artists along with recording new music, he’s on a mission to build a legacy that will inspire many others. He’s on his way to making history on “Chemistry“!

In a Yardcore Films-directed video, Deep Jahi reflects on his life, his journey, the times he has been counted out, and some of the good he has done so far. Over the CaadoBeatz production, Jahi emphasizes that having a team with great chemistry is important to make the dream work. The video highlights some of his performances, working in the Studio, and overseeing Artists like Kraff making moves under his guidance. Deep Jahi has come a long way since Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall, and he has a lot more to go on his journey.

Ghana’s Shatta Wale is still running things, and his dominance has only grown stronger. The African Dancehall King continues to grow his following, asserting himself in every scene, and influencing many to follow in his footsteps. With a number of projects already in his catalogue, he made noise recently with his 5th studio album, “Maali“. One track has already secured a place in Dancehall history, and it’s called, “Mansa Musa“!

“Mansa Musa” is the long-awaited collaboration between Shatta Wale, and Vybz Kartel, and they show you why they reign supreme over a Damaker Studios production. The “GhanaGaza” connection finds them aiming to achieve more success, and delivering some of their best musically. “Mansa Musa” refers to the wealthiest King in history, and the deejays definitely have ambitions to become the wealthiest Kings in their respective leagues. Shatta has been oftentimes compared to the World Boss due to having a similar influence in his part of the world, but many were longing for a collaboration between them. While we hope for more in the future, we’re glad this one happened. Despite being incarcerated and failed appeal attempts, Kartel is still pressing on with new content, and keeping his name alive behind bars. The Dancehall Kings continue to rule.

Produced by Autobamb Records and Sart Out Records (R.I.P. Dane Sortie 🙏🏽), Alkaline lets you know that he only makes boss moves, and is calling all the shots. Don’t take him for a simple person, and it won’t go bad. Still throwing shots here and there, but Alkaline still holds his own. “Boss” is the 4th single released in recent weeks, and we look forward to see what’s next from him.

Recording Artist Kxng Izem has been building on his music and name for the past few years, and has gotten through a few doors in the process. With a number of singles and projects out, he maintains a steady work ethic, and has people eager to see what he’ll do next. This time around, he tries something new, and they’re called, “Midnight” and “Til Dawn“.

“Midnight” and “Til Dawn” are Kxng Izem’s latest EP releases. Doubling up this time around, he hopes this new endeavour gets in the right places, and levels up his profile. Featuring 6 songs each, Izem taps into different themes and topics, while giving listeners his signature sound and delivery. The Harry J Allstars’ “Liquidator” Featured In New @TedLasso Episode

It has been said over and over that good music will always prevail. When it comes to Jamaican music, the same can be said as it has managed to stick to many through the decades. Recently, the Apple TV+ hit series “Ted Lasso” returned with its 3rd season. The series focuses on Ted Lasso who is played by Jason Sudeikis, an American Football (NFL) Coach who takes his talents to the UK to manage a British Football (Soccer) team. The 2nd episode of the 3rd season kicked off on March 22, and a familiar sound was heard.

In the episode “(I Don’t Want To Go To) Chelsea” of “Ted Lasso”, The Harry J Allstars’ “Liquidator” was featured. The Instrumental was produced by Harry “Harry J” Johnson, and released through the Harry J label. “Liquidator” was sampled by Al Bell for The Staple Singers’ classic “I’ll Take You There“, covered by numerous Artists, and was famously used as run out music for the Football Clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers, Northampton Town, Yeovil Town, West Bromwich Albion, and most famously, Chelsea, who claims to have 1st used it.

“Ted Lasso” is now available for streaming on Apple TV+.
