Digging through his archives and dropping a track today is Producer/Rapper Kris Karz. Titled “Rebel Music“, this features Singers Ana and Trust and Reggae artist Biggz General. This unmixed version also features a sample from the late Dennis Brown. Here they speak on being a rebel against the system, having their own thoughts and standing out in everything. They also pay respect to famous rebels who fought for the rights of people. A good effort here, given the right push this could be a hit for them all. What do you think? NEW VIDEO: @Protoje – I & I

Off the newly released “8 Year Affair” album Reggae singer Protoje released his music video for “I & I“. Directed by I & I & I (i’m guessing Protoje directed this), we see him and a few friends walking the streets and spreading messages and pamphlets out to people in efforts to help them learn about Marcus Garvey, Walter Rodney and Haile Selassie I. This video features cameos from Jah 9, Kabaka Pyramid, Chronixx and many others. As described by Protoje this was more than a video shoot, it was also a march that done in collaboration with author Dutty Bookman. In recognition of Black History Month, NY rapper HopDaGreat released a new video. Titled “What Happened?” and directed by L.E.S. Davis, Hop raps about the black inventors who created some wonderful inventions that we use daily. Not bad and I’m sure you all will like it as well.
