After causing quite some controversy last year, what does 2015 have in store for Alkaline? Tonight on Onstage he spoke on being public enemy #1, his absence from Sting 2014, focusing on his career and claiming to being above many of his musical peers, avoiding clashes, “Vendetta“, his performance at Reggae Sumfest 2014, his new look, his debut appearance in the US and more music. Despite being a target in Dancehall, Alkaline continued to make a name for himself worldwide. You can’t help but respect that. NEW VIDEO: @DemarcoDaDon At @ReggaeSting 2014

One of the top performances of the event came from Dancehall artist Demarco. The “Good Book” Deejay went through many of his old and new hits, commanded his audience and even brought on dancers to demonstrate the very popular “Puppy Tail” dance. I was hoping he and Masicka would start a clash but as stated in a previous post they were involved in an altercation backstage. Taking his place at the “Greatest One Night Show” was Dancehall artist Masicka. With a brief set, Masicka went in on some of his singles, called out current rival Demarco and sent shots at Aidonia. I was hoping there would’ve been a clash between Masicka and Demarco but at the time this post was drafted there was word of an altercation between the two backstage. With hot singles and brewing beefs, Demarco has a lot on his plate and tonight on Onstage he discussed this and more with Winford Williams. Here he spoke on not seeing Masicka worthy of a clash and threw a few shots at him, enjoying a very successful year, Sting 2014, and aiming to make more hits. He also gave a sneak peek at his “Puppy Tail” music video. As much as Demarco said he’s not seeing Masicka worthy of a clash, I believe they will throw more jabs.
