.@Aidonia4thGenna & @NotniceRecords Join Forces, Pop “Bottles” Together

Dancehall Music has always had its share of feuds and drama since its inception. What can happen out of the conflict are either great songs, flopped careers, a boost in profile, or a resolution where both parties make amends for the better. The mid to late 2000s saw the rise of the Portmore Empire/Gaza, Gullyside, The Alliance, and J.O.P. (now 4th Genna) camps, all headed by Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Bounty Killa, and Aidonia respectively. There was turmoil, with each camp having some form of beef. In one episode, Aidonia and Vybz Kartel started beefing, pitting their camps against each other. Today that beef is long gone, and we see Aidonia joining forces with Notnice, once a top Producer for Portmore Empire, to release the single, “Bottles“.

“Bottles” is a celebration of life and good times, with Aidonia for the first time recording over production by Notnice. Over a revamped version of the classic “Street Vybz Riddim” that was released in 2010, we’re popping bottles, living it up with friends, and building a vibe like no other “when bad song a drop“. The “Street Vybz Riddim” got new life at the end of 2023 with Chronic Law’sWeekend, and now Aidonia captains the Ship to make it one of the hottest Riddims for 2024. Fans will be taken back to the days of a very dominant Aidonia and his J.O.P. cohorts, and the times when Notnice was everywhere. We look forward to hearing more from this pairing, and who have been recruited to voice on the Riddim (Alkaline has been rumoured to be next up). Sometimes beef can end on a good note. J.O.P.!

Chronic Law Takes On A @NotniceRecords Classic For “Weekend (Bup Bup)”

2023 is the year that classic Dancehall sounds took over the scene, and 2024 will find many more taking over and captained by the new generation of Artists. The legendary Notnice is the latest Producer to emerge with classics, and he brought along the “Street Vybz Riddim” from 2010 with some touches. The first Artist to tackle the revamped Riddim is the “Law BossChronic Law with the track, “Weekend (Bup Bup)“.

With a Linkz Notnice-directed video, Chronic Law mixes the Street Vybz with some Fada Dark on “Weekend (Bup Bup)”. The video highlights his recent performance at Masicka’s Birthday concert, connecting with a few friends, and ensuring that the tool is never leaves his reach. The single was previewed earlier this month via Notnice’s Social Media, and we know there will be a lot more to enjoy with the official releases on “Street Vybz 2.0“. Kick off the New Year’s weekend the right way, the Law Boss way.

Skeng & Jah Vinci - "Seh Feh" on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica #Dancehall #13thStreetPromotions #Skeng #JahVinci #SehFeh #NotniceRecords #Caribbean #Dancehall

Skeng & @RealJahVinci Bring The Aggression On “Seh Feh”

Dancehall Artist Skeng is kicking off a hot summer pretty early. While he has been enjoying a lot of International attention, he still has to tap into the local scene, and increase the badness. His numerous releases over the past few months kept the fanbase happy, and he continues with more by releasing the visual for the track, “Seh Feh“.

“Seh Feh” is an aggressive new tune that’s produced by Notnice Records, and features Dancehall Singjay, Jah Vinci. Rolling with Skeng, the KD Visualz-directed video finds them armed and ready to bring terror to all who oppose. The gritty visual emphasizes the darkness of the track, and the Artists secured a collaboration that is sure to find favour with the fans of the “Ratty Gang” leader, and the man who provided melodies for many Gaza hits. It’s hunting season for Skeng, don’t get caught.

Fun Fact: Did you know Jah Vinci has a track that was sampled in a Hip Hop track? Remember his “Marrow Gone” diss track to Mavado? Check this out.
