Over here on 13th Street Promotions, we highlight a number of music releases from upcoming and established acts from the Caribbean, and parts of the world. Sometimes those posts go under the radar for some, especially on Social Media (thanks to the algorithms), and we want to give you more options to consume the music. Starting today in this month of March 2025, we launch the new “What’s On 13th Street?” Playlist!

D’yani is one of Jamaica’s best Vocalists out now. He holds a special place in the hearts of a few fans, and has been praised for his talent, and a stage presence that stands out. For quite some time, he has been hinting at the release of a project called “Muse“. After a few singles, tour dates, and major appearances, the “Muse” EP is finally here.

Presenting 7 tracks, D’yani is giving the world his work of art with the “Muse” EP. Released through 9X Music, the project finally goes public for the fans to enjoy all year round, and the Singer has selections that will keep them happy every time. Production on the EP include, MariTheProducer, Joffstar, The FaNaTiX, Markus Records, Viva Cee, and Yo Christon, while the UK-based House Gospel Choir makes an appearance. Look out for D’yani in a city near you in the coming weeks, and make sure to keep “Muse” in heavy rotation.

Produced by Yo Christon and released through City Rock Entertainment, Rosh Reign is on a mission to release the chains, break free from bondage and barriers of all kinds, and encourage others to take control of their freedom in “Shackles”. Rosh makes a statement with her powerful melodies over a solid production, and in a world where many are held captive by situations, vices, and people, she provides a strong voice for those who aspire for true freedom. Rosh continues to showcase a versatility and rawness that makes her a standout act and an in-demand performer, with many of her musical peers co-signing her. Ghost Goes International With Official Video For “Be Your Friend”

Recording Artist Ghost is not slowing down this year. With “Be Your Friend” covering more ground, the Singer is ensuring that the world not only hear this song, but love it. On Valentine’s Day he gave the people an acoustic performance of the track, and tonight we get the premiere of the official Music Video.

Co-directed with Rayebann Entertainment, when Ghost has his eyes on that special someone, he’s making the move every time. The video for “Be Your Friend” finds the Singer putting on the moves in the club while securing his lady, and interacting with her in various locations throughout. The Pop single has been receiving a lot of love in the streets recently, and Ghost looks to make it truly International when he performs it in future overseas bookings. He is also putting the finishing touches on a forthcoming album, and an announcement will be made in the coming weeks. Ghost remains as smooth as ever.

The Valentine’s Weekend may be over, but the love is still happening. Some may have focused on just that one day, but what about the rest of the year? Enter JungleGod with something new to keep things bubbling. Tune in to his latest project, “From Jungle With Love“.

Released on Valentine’s Day, JungleGod provided 14 tracks for the lovers with “From Jungle With Love”. Sometimes putting the message in a song is the easiest way to do it, and Jungle gives listeners a number of way to express their love over production that taps into R&B, Dancehall, Pop, Reggae, and Hip Hop sounds. Jungle deals with love in various forms on this project, and he invited the likes of Robert “Dubwise” Browne, Jaivanni, David TV Barnes, and his RSNY brethren to make their contributions to the project. OLDIES SUNDAY: Jimmy Cliff – We All Are One (1983)

It’s Reggae Month in Jamaica, and we continue to show respect to those who have contributed to the further development and success of Reggae on “Oldies Sunday“. Today’s entry highlights a Jamaican Rockstar who helped to set the standard. We look back at Jimmy Cliff, and his track, “We All Are One“.

Produced by Amir Bayyan, Jim Bonnefond, and Ronald Bell and released through Columbia/CBS in 1983, Jimmy Cliff promoted unity in “We All Are One”. Cliff reminds us that despite our race, age, culture, and nationality, we are all human with similar qualities and features at the end of the day, and we should treat each other better. Cliff delivers melodies over some solid production that taps into Reggae and Pop sounds, and “We All Are One” quickly became a hit for him. The single was featured on Cliff’s GRAMMY-nominated 1983 album, “The Power And The Glory“. Jimmy Cliff was one of the Artists who helped in bringing Reggae to International popularity in the early stages, and has inspired many around the world.

Since the release of “We All Are One”, Jimmy Cliff went on to release more music. He is a 2 time GRAMMY winner, was given the Order of Merit by the Government of Jamaica, was assigned as a Peace Ambassador for the United Nations, has been a part of many Humanitarian campaigns, and continues to contribute to the extension of Reggae music around the world. “We All Are One” remains one of his memorable hits.
