Songbird Akina Eman returns to the scene with something special for her listeners. When it’s time for her to be creative, everything else is a non-factor, and she’s locked in until her work is done. She made some releases earlier this year, but now she has something packaged for you to enjoy. This gift, is called “Slumber Tapes“.

“Slumber Tapes” is Akina Eman’s latest EP, and she provides 5 tracks for the listener to get lost in. She still holds you hostage with her soothing vocals, and they take control of the lyrics she delivers throughout about love. Some will experience this project like embracing the warmth of someone who they’re deeply in love with, others will treat it like a pillow talk session that never ends. Production on “Slumber Tapes” is mainly handled by Kone, expect for one track by Kalex of Island Wav. No features here, just Akina live and direct for you. While outside is getting colder and darker, let this new EP provide some cozy comfort through it all.

Canada’s DJ BlkLuos returns with more work for the Summer! With a few singles and projects out, he continues to show his dedication to bringing new sounds out into the world, and introduce different voices on his platforms. Whatever your musical taste is, BlkLuos will take care of that. Recently, he linked up with fellow Canadian Recording Artist It’sRyan for the track, “I Know“!

Over some smooth production provided by DJ BlkLuos, It’sRyan has a conversation with a love interest on “I Know”, as he questions her motives, and sees if the connection is genuine. It’sRyan gives us great vocals throughout, and if you aren’t familiar with his music, we urge you to get to know him as he has been making his rounds as one of the Artists you need to hear. Accompanying the track is a music video directed by DJ BlkLuos, who continues to show the extent of his creativity, and starring Vancouver/Toronto based Model, Jessica Gianna.

A Relationship Goes Through A lot In @SarkAmbassador & @MissRheaDawn’s “Toxic” Video

A couple months ago, Trini Artist Sarkastik Ambassador and Bajan star Rhea Layne gave us a demo of a track they were working on called, “Toxic“. It tackled some of the issues that affect relationships, and many people could relate to the song. Fast forward to the present day, we’re proud to show you the music video for the officially released track.

Directed by Sarkastik Ambassador and starring Nicholas C. Subero and Ruby Parris (related to Paul Parris of The Parris Agency who manages Jus D?), “Toxic” is brought to life showcasing an estranged couple who struggle through moments of tension, restriction, passion and emotional intimacy in just one day of quarantining together. Many relationships have taken a dive in recent months, and the pandemic hasn’t been making things easier for some of us mentally. When this couple isn’t distancing themselves from each other, they’re arguing, but in the end they find themselves getting closer. Hang in there guys, it’s rough out there, and seek help when you can.
