As a part of his trip to New York for a performance at S.O.B.’s on Wednesday, Reggae artist I Octane made a stop at the Hot 97 studio to have a chat with Cipha Sounds and Shawnee Culture. Here Octane spoke on his style of music, his personality, the Reggae culture, Snoop Dogg or rather Snoop Lion, seeing the need to properly market a Reggae/Dancehall artist, and many other topics. I Octane also gave a brief performance for the listeners. Good to see I Octane on a big station like Hot 97, it’s also great when stations like them play many of our songs.
