For all the years Dancehall/Reggae Artist Jahmiel has been active, he has displayed an array of talent that makes his an Artist to emulate. Even when you don’t hear from him often, he’s still ensuring that his presence is known when he drops something. He’s not a local act, and his name continues to connect with more around the world. He continues to share his gift with the new EP, “Sound Of Greatness“.

Featuring 6 tracks, Jahmiel shows why he has a strong career with the release of the “Sound Of Greatness” EP. He shares music to motivate the people, and even has something for the ladies. The EP was done in collaboration with Producer Minto Play Da Riddim, and features an appearance by Projexx. The former lead Singer of the 90s group A.R.P did very well for himself as a solo Artist, creating classics, and standing out with a vocal presence that has people wanting more. He took time away from the scene to focus on other things and taking the music on the road, but the requests for his return kept piling up. He released songs under the radar over time, but people needed him to return with a bang. He did just that today with the release of, “Sunshine Days“.

Produced by Global Merchant Music, Da’Ville makes his official return to music in 13 years with the release of, “Sunshine Days”. This new single is for those who are dealing with dark clouds and cold days, and when the right person or situation comes your way, everything is back in a vibrant colour, and moods are lifted. Da’Ville still has the vocal chops, and this is the start of him coming back with more consistent music. His words are further emphasized with a music video directed by Bling Blang, and we can see how everything is better when some positivity comes and brightens up the scene. Produced by Fred Irie and featuring Gio Mar, Justice The Artiste is all about making great things happen with the special lady in, “Precision”. The new collaboration finds the Artists expressing the value of a good relationship, and they’re not in it for deception and games. Over the weekend, US Rapper Travis Scott released the new album, “Jackboys 2“. Done in collaboration with his “Cactus Jack” collective, the new album has been receiving a lot of attention on Social Media. One song in particular on the album, “Shyne“, has been met with a variety of comments.

“Shyne” features Memphis Rapper Glorilla, and is one of the closing tracks on the new “Jackboys 2” album. Since its release, it has drawn quite the attention online. The track sampled the 2000 single, “Bad Boyz” from US/Belize Rapper Shyne. Produced by Ez Elpee and sampled Grace Jones’ “Nightclubbin“, “Bad Boyz” features Reggae/Dancehall legend Barrington Levy (whose “Broader Than Broadway” was also sampled on the track), and showcases a great example of culture blending, and Caribbean vibes in one of the biggest melting pots of the world. Travis Scott’s track finds him not only sampling the production, but attempting to copy Barrington Levy’s signature “Shibbily dabbily” style that was performed on the original. Scott joins a number of Artists who sampled “Bad Boyz”, and they include Lady London, Sean Price, and Cassidy. We hope the business was handled right in regards of sampling this classic. “Jackboys 2” also features a collaboration with Vybz Kartel called “PBT“, and the album is out now on all streaming platforms.

Nisou is a newcomer on the scene who aims to take over with her unique sound, and get the people talking with her music. She doesn’t want to join the crowd, she wants to start a movement. She steps up with her debut single, “Kit Kat“.

Produced by Reggie Crux and Neggle, Nisou deals with a bittersweet kind of love in, “Kit Kat”. She shares being in a relationship where there are tender moments, but it’s not something genuine and done for the right reasons. Despite sweet words and moments, they can’t patch up the real truth of the relationship, and walking away from this situation is the first step in loving yourself more. Nisou flexes with sultry vocals here, and she handles the production well for her debut. With a history of being in the performing arts, Nisou is ready for the main stage. Keep your eyes on this one.

Royal Blu may seem like a simple Man with his calm demeanor, but underneath is an Artist who possesses powerful lyrics, and knows how to light that fire when he enters the booth. Formerly known as Blu Kid, the Spanish Town native has been perfecting his craft, and has built a movement that continues to witness his rise. He has performed with some of the best, and now he makes a big step in his career. He releases his debut album, “Spain Root“.

Featuring 14 tracks and released through Easy Star Records, “Spain Root” is Royal Blu’s dedication to his hometown. The project is some of Blu’s best work yet, and he covers a lot of ground here. Showcasing a display of great songwriting, a solid command of whatever production is thrown his way, and holding his own when collaborating with others. Production of “Spain Root” is handled by DelaGroove, J.L.L., RiddimBoss, ProdByRoss, The Autos, G.Wav, Paris Lamont, Mundo, Yo Christon, KaleX, and Cuco Fyah, while he shares the booth with Protoje, Runkus, D’Yani, Akina Eman, and Kabaka Pyramid.
