The new generation of the Marley family continues to wave the flag for making great music, and ensuring that Bob Marley and the previous generation’s talent they’ve inherited never dies. Skip Marley climbs further up the ladder to success with his brand of music. Having made a lot of noise with his collaboration with H.E.R. called “Slow Down”, today we get to hear his latest single titled, “Make Me Feel“!

Featuring “The biggest Boss” Rick Ross and Dreamville songstress Ari Lennox, Skip finds himself in a groove as he glides over some smooth production by Rykeyz, and drops lyrics revealing moments of uncertainty, but finding hope through that special someone where you get to enjoy life to the fullest, and create good vibes with the one who has had your back through good and bad times. The world can get crazy, but having the right person there with you can do a world of good. With the addition of Ari’s soothing vocals and the Rozay’s signature sound (there are two versions of the track, one sans Ross, the other with an Ari verse), this track sounds like another hit! “Make Me Feel” should be on your Playlist today, and let the lyrics be a mood all year!

Admit it, you still have Chronixx’s “Cool As The Breeze/Friday” on repeat. You should be as it’s one of the hottest songs out. Chronixx knew what he was doing when he released this track in the summer. Going further with it, he makes his 3rd official appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with a performance of the track.

Though not sharing the “Fallon Tonight” set, Chronixx performs the track straight from Jamaica accompanied by Evan Mason a.k.a. Evan Keyz, and a “criss” Toyota Corolla! Handling it in one take, Chronixx dazzles, and continues to raise his flag for Jamaican music. Imagine the reception from the crowd if he was to perform this at a stage show? Teaming up with Kenyan Producer Jeff Kaale, Leno turns up the charm as he weaves line after line, and flow after flow to have the ladies swaying throughout the duration of the track. With sweet melodies by Kaale backing up the lyrics, this is gonna be a favourite, and a track that’ll keep the speakers red hot! Adding to the single’s style is the artwork that was compiled by Jamaican creatives, The RAAS Collective. Here you can find Leno Banton channeling the late Jimi Hendrix as a part of RC’s Cycle 70’s Magazine feature. “Brown Sugar” joins the list of recently released singles that are sure to keep you entertained all Summer 2020.

This one goes out to all the special ladies out there. May you be like a favourite painting that can’t be parted with for anything in the world! With his 5th album on the way, Protoje starts things off with the first single, “Same So“.

Assisting Ziah on the track’s beautiful production, Protoje flexes some vocal chops that may be a surprise to many out there. When there’s that one person who takes over your every being, one who makes you want to do any and everything with them, one you just want all for yourself, you can very much relate to Protoje’s track here.
