With the world embracing it through Social Media platforms TikTok and Instagram, 1Biggs Don may have a bright future ahead of him along with the right people to guide him. With even Drake following him on Instagram, being viral does have its perks. Nonetheless, the work still needs to be done. Biggs follows up with the music video for “Bwoii Affi”.

Directed by Saii Media Group and shot in Mandeville, 1Biggs Don surrounds himself with flashy cars, friends, ladies, and positions himself in his hometown that saw him rise in fame. His confidence shines throughout the “Bwoii Affi” video, and this may be the start of something bigger for the young Artist. .@ShenYeng’s “Pon Mi” Lives Different Lives On TikTok!

Over the past few months, users of the Social Media platform TikTok would hear the following opening line from various videos in their feeds, “P***y tight, p***y clean, p***y fresh…“. The song behind that is Dancehall Artist Shenseea’s 2018 single, “Pon Mi“. Produced by Dunw3ll, the single was an instant hit for the “ShenYeng” Artist, and it showed on streaming platforms Youtube, Apple Music, and Spotify. The original song was also loved on Instagram, but when it crossed over to TikTok, it became a different monster.

When “Pon Mi” made its debut on TikTok, the song would be used in dance videos, “fresh out the shower” selfie videos, and was even heavily used in Dog TikToker MisterMainer clips. Over the past few weeks, “Pon Mi” would enjoy a series of remixes that would make Romeich shed tears. Thanks to various Producers (including Ranvision) and DJs, “Pon Mi” was given Classical Music remixes, EDM remixes, 70s Pop remixes, Country Music remixes, K-Pop remixes, Hip Hop remixes, and just about any style you can think of. If we can predict it just a lil bit, the popularity of Shenseea’s “Pon Mi” may reflect exponentially in the streams, making it one of her most popular singles ever. With TikTok becoming the hot platform for Artists to gain major exposure, for old songs to get a new life, and for new hits to be made, we’re curious to see what will happen next.

It’s the month of June! For many, it’s considered a Wedding month, as many couples chose this month to jump the broom, get hitched, and make an honest partner out of each other. We’ve highlighted a few Wedding themed songs on Oldies Sunday, and today we give you another. For today’s selection, we head on over to Barbados to check out Lunar 7’s “Marry Me“!

Produced by Trex Records and released in 1972, “Marry Me” belongs to the Caribbean genre of music called, “Spouge“, which is a Ska/Calypso fusion that was originated in Barbados. The track is about a man who wants to spend the rest of his life with this one Woman, and he is tired of wandering. He shares his desire to come home to her, realizes what she’s all that his heart wants despite trying to be with other people, and he will tell the world how much she means to him. The track found favour with many during its release in the 70s, was used in a few Weddings, and remains a fond memory to some today. For those getting married this month, all the best from us!

Capitalizing off of the buzz and setting up for a “Heph B Summer“, Heph B unleashes the music video for “Big Boy“.

Directed by Foreign Boy Films, Heph B is spending money, rolling in luxury, and is surrounded by friends and family in his latest music video. With the success Heph has been enjoying, it’s only right that he moves like a King for “Big Boy”, and bring along the people who are closest to him. Whether he’s popping bottles, scoring wins at the Casino, or even putting on some dance moves for the world to follow, Heph B is celebrating life, and enjoying it in the best way he can.

Dancehall Artist Masicka is still doing numbers with his 2021 debut album, “438“. With fans still showing appreciation on Social Media, it’s no surprise that some of the tracks have gone on to become viral hits. One of the tracks that took off was the Stefflon Don assisted single, “Moments“. It has gained popularity on TikTok and Instagram Reels, and fans were eager for a music video for this one. Recently, Stefflon Don took a short trip to Jamaica, and today you will see the result of that trip. Here is the music video for “Moments”.

Directed by RD Studios, Masicka and Stefflon Don display some intimacy throughout the “Moments” clip. With Masicka following clues to meet Steff in a room, we get to see them get cozy, and of course perform the track together. Viewers will say they make a nice couple onscreen, while some may wish they were in Masicka or Stefflon’s place.
