One thing with Jamaicans, everything we touch turns to gold! While you all are enjoying the Easter Weekend (If you’re at work, I’m sorry 😦 ), I present to you a lil theme music courtesy of Producer/Recording Artist DXMVRC. Titled “WullaVybz“, the Production encourages you to just “Gwaan WullaYybz (Hol’ A Vibes/Get Lit/Have Fun)”. It’s amazing what can come from chilling on the beach (He revealed that he made this while dipping in Jamaican waters). For those new to DXMVRC, the former Glenmuirite has been producing for a couple years and has released a couple EPs along the way. He has also lent his voice as a part of a couple Choirs in Jamaica. You need to get in the car, and head to the beach with this blasting at full volume! A part of the AME Sound, hear the track below.
Bad Royale is a EDM/Bass Collective that has been making noise for quite a while. Based in California and signed to Mad Decent under the sub label Good Enuff, Maor Levi, Kevin Wild, Bruce Karlsson and Elias Ghosn have been collecting listeners on their rise to fame thanks to their dope remixes and original production that crossed over many genres. Recently they recruited Caribbean acts Mark Hardy (Trinidad), Future Fambo (Jamaica) and Brukout (Jamaica) for their latest EP titled “Treasures From Tomorrow“. Bringing EDM, Caribbean Bass, Future Dancehall and Future Soca together, this is a mash up of audio goodness and is a nice addition for the holiday weekend! While the EP is only 3 tracks long, this is a project that will be left on repeat as you rave away the troubles of the past week. It’s time to get wild! On the first official day of Summer, Jamaican Producer KickRaux delivers what could be your theme song for Summer ’16! Remixing Denmark’s Faustix and David Jay’s “Come Closer” hit, Kick took the single on a Island adventure as it received the essence of Future Dancehall all over. A remix that brings for the vision of Pool Parties, Light Beers, Rum, and Swimsuits, this should be played at a high volume and preferably in a Residential Area. Come closer and experience the Kickraux effect by listening to the track below.
Feeling for a remix? Why not check out the Kick Raux remix to the remix of Kranium’s smash hit, “Nobody Has To Know” featuring Ty Dolla Sign. Adding some high energy to the single, this version would be awesome to use if Kranium was to shoot another music video for the single. Great production by Kick Raux, check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
