Dropping new music today is Vanessa Bling a.k.a. Gaza Slim. Titled “How To Treat A Girl” and produced by UIM Records, we hear Bling getting at all the men who disrespect the women in their lives by abusing them, calling them names, and being disloyal in their relationships. She also states that they don’t know how to treat a girl and she’s tired of it all and deserves better. Not a bad effort from her here. What do you think of the track? Dropping another one of his mash ups is Toronto based DJ Fella. Titled “Plans Fi Yuh“, this utilizes Singer Kim Kelly’s “Plans Fi Yuh” and Alkaline’s “Touch You“. There comes a time in relationships where things can get rough. While fights may occur, Singer Berri lets us know that she can’t let go the one she loves in her new video. Titled “I Can’t Let Go” and directed by Asha and Julia B. and shot in various locations in Jamaica, we see Berri going through good and bad times with her gentleman. She shows that even when they fell out, they somehow end up being good again after a while. Not a bad effort here from the singer as many can relate to her lyrics and even some of the scenes. Today’s new video is Reggae artist Jahmiel’s dedication to all the real fathers out there. Titled “Real Father” and directed by Kalila Anderson and Ricardo Williams, Jahmiel sings about the times his father has been there for him and showing respect to all the fathers out there who doing the same for their kids. This video also features cameo appearances from Producer Notnice, Keznamdi, Bugle, Rum Blood of Ward 21, DJ Razz, Richie Feelings, Gyptian, Vybrant, and Clive Hunt. This is a really great song as not many artists dedicate songs for the fathers. Great effort on the video as we see scenes of fathers being around their children and even photos of a younger Jahmiel. Chris Brown’s “Loyal” has become quite a popular track worldwide, so much so that many have crafted remixes to the song. Today, Ishawna tackles the hit song in the form of a counteraction. Here she speaks on the disloyal men, not needing the stress that come with them, “Royalty over loyalty“, and states that for every action there’s a reaction when it comes to disloyalty.
