Cashflow Records newly signed artiste Yoncia has released her single entitled ‘Our Time’ on Cashflow’s ‘Our Time Riddim’. The song speaks to embracing ones destiny and encourages listeners to avoid negativity. She shared, “This song means a lot to me. It acts as a means to motivate my fans and also myself”.
Since its release the single has been receiving great reviews. Yoncia who is born in St. Thomas Jamaica now resides in New Jersey where she is also promoting her new single. She said, “I have a growing fan base and I am super excited to tap into different markets here in Jamaica and abroad”. Her music has received rotations on Real Radio, 106.1 FM in New York, and Irie FM in Jamaica.
The up and coming artiste holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Journalism from Montclair State University and entered the pageant world, competing for the title of Miss New Jersey USA both in 2010 and 2011. She believes that she epitomizes beauty and talent adding, “I am confident that I have the full package; I am a talented, beautiful and an intelligent lad, I believe my musical style is unique. I am here to make a difference as a female in the music industry”.
Yoncia teamed up with with Cashflow Records, Breadback Productions and 17th Street Production last year and has been working vigorously on several projects. While ‘Our Tine’ is her first official single, Yoncia is set to release singles such as ‘Where I’m From’, ‘Low mi’, ‘Neva Hurt Yuh’ and ‘Whine Pon Yuh’. These singles are all a part of her first EP entitled ‘She is Yoncia’. The EP is slated to be released in March 2016 by VPAL Music out of Queens New York.
DJ Blkluos sure has a thing for finding talented people. Today, he gives us Nigerian born Singer Chinny who releases “It’s All Okay“. Produced by Blkluos, this is a cover of Australian Folk-Blues Singer Julia Stone’s 2012 single with Chinny’s twist over some dope Production. Love is in the air and Recording Artistes IQ and Amanda are expressing all the love in their new song, “Stay With Me”. The song was officially released on February 16, 2016 and was produced by Internationally renowned Producer DJ Herc of Sound Source Entertainment in South Africa. What fans can appreciate about this song is that it combines the genres of Reggae/Dancehall & Pop into a worldly sound that authentic music lovers will find stimulating and pleasing. When quizzed about the inspiration behind the song, IQ revealed that he got his inspiration from his collaborator, Amanda who is also his girlfriend. “It goes without saying, that we are a perfect match for this collaboration. She was the one that gave me the inspiration to pen this song and I couldn’t imagine singing this song with anyone else” Shared IQ.
“Stay With Me” is doing extremely well locally and has been gaining steam on the International market. “I have very high expectations for this song! I can see this song reaching billboard because it is an exceptionally crafted song”. The two are pouring on the fuel on the flames of love with this sweet and equally exciting song. “You may be surprised but this song was actually recorded a while back; it is embodiment of our unending love for each other, so it’s timeless” said the Artiste.
IQ is also known for the hit collaboration “Weh Me A Go Do” with Jah Vinci, a song that did very well locally and Internationally.
