XHAE Has a Thing For The Boy Next Door On “Bidi Bidi”

There’s always something going on in the Neighbourhood. Whether a fight, yard work, or new tenants, everyday has a new event. How about obsession? Upcoming Recording Artist XHAE has one, and she gives us an earful about it in, “Bidi Bidi“.

Produced by Jermaine Forde (son of Brinsley Forde of the legendary group, ASWAD) and released through Dubshot Records, XHAE is obsessed over the boy next door in, “Bidi Bidi”. The track finds her falling head over heels for him, and she has a lot of love to give him. “Bidi Bidi” samples the 1995 classic single “Anything For You” by Canadian Recording Artist Snow and Reggae/Dancehall Singer Nadine Sutherland, which was produced by Hurby “Luv Bug” on the “Grafton Brew Riddim“. “Anything For You” became a timeless hit thanks to its “Allstar Remix” which featured Buju Banton, Louie Culture, Beenie Man, Terror Fabulous, and Kulture Knox. XHAE previewed the single during UK DJ AG Online’s visit to the Island earlier this year, and earned some viral love. She believes the official single will open a few doors, and set her up for a great career. Greatness is within her indeed, as her Father is one of Jamaica’s leading Vocalists Mikey Spice, and her Grandfather is the legendary Duckie Simpson, founder of the quintessential Reggae Group, Black Uhuru. There goes the Neighbourhood.
