Dancehall Artist Valiant may have been trending recently thanks to his choice of footwear on Social Media, but he’ll always maintain a presence with the music. The past few months has seen him secure more hits and gain more attention Internationally, and he’s working for even more. Best believe his focus is on a “Whole Lotta” things.

Directed by Don Prod, Valiant is taking his career and life to new levels in “Whole Lotta”. Surrounded by his peers, we’re looking at a Deejay who has remained consistent, and is enjoying the fruits of his labour with an eagerness to gain even more. “Whole Lotta” is the first single off of Valiant’s upcoming debut album, and we look forward to future developments. The Streets Are “Grimey”, But Valiant & Weekday Hold Their Own

Jamaican Producer Weekday has been elevating his game for quite a while, and every release gets better. A member of Tru Ambassador Ent.’s Next Generation roster, he has been keeping the hit factory busy with his unique sounds that compliment the lyrics of some of your favourite Dancehall/Reggae Artists. He has also crossed over into Corporate Jamaica by collaborating with a number of high profile brands. He continues to be one of the in-demand Producers out, and sets the standard with his latest collaboration with Dancehall star, Valiant.

Teaming up for the new single, “Grimey”, Weekday and Valiant deliver a song about ensuring everything that is considered important in life is on point and free from corruption while in the pursuit of achieving goals. Over some solid production, Valiant reflects on some of the days where he had to struggle, and shares that despite success now, some days will find him being cautious of his surroundings and who he shares his energy with, as there are forces in the world whose aim is to cause harm, and damage reputations. Weekday’s production drives the messages home to the listener, and assists in securing another hit for the Tru Ambassador Ent. catalogue, and Valiant’s Diplomats Records. A music video for “Grimey”, which was directed by Damaniac Visuals, is set to premiere along with the new single, and features an appearance by Weekday, and Actor/Director/Media Personality Cornelius Grant.

Weekday has been lending his unique sound to the Dancehall/Reggae scene for a number of years. As a member of Tru Ambassador Next Generation, he has collaborated with the likes of 450, Deno Crazy, Pablo YG, 1SkiMask, Mavado, and Alkaline among others. He previously released the “Quarantine” and “Tears Of Joy” Riddim Compilations, and is looking forward to following up with a new Riddim later this year.

Weekday and Valiant’s “Grimey” collaboration will be out on January 11 on all digital music streaming platforms. The music video for “Grimey” will follow shortly after the single’s release with a premiere on Valiant’s official Youtube channel.

Shaneil Muir, Valiant Share Video For, “Paradox”

Earlier this year, Dancehall Artists Shaneil Muir and Valiant released their collaboration called, “Paradox“. The Traptive Music-produced song finds a couple at odds with each other, and go at it through a series of arguments. The single quickly gained popularity, and demands for a Music Video were made. Look no further as the request has been fulfilled.

Directed by Rizzy for Now Or Never, Shaneil Muir and Valiant go at it in “Paradox”. The share the toxicity, the anger, and the frustrations throughout, shedding a light on what many broken unions go through. Even though there are a couple moments where one party wants to mend things, things have gotten to the point where they can’t keep it together. The “Paradox” track continues to connect with listeners with its relatable theme, but many are looking forward to a live performance to further showcase the musical chemistry between Shaneil and Valiant. Maybe that happens at Reggae Sumfest 2024, maybe.

Valiant Makes Major Label Debut With “Flava” Single

Dancehall Artist Valiant is on another level. The Deejay signed with Signal Records/Columbia Records and Epic UK last year, and has been elevating his game even more. The Deejay also secured a MOBO Award in February for “Best Caribbean Music Act“, and now makes his major label debut with the single, “Flava“.

Produced by GuiltyBeatz, Valiant is all about living the good life and doing things in a big way on “Flava”. With his strong presence in Dancehall, the Deejay looks to make this Summer his with the Afrobeats-tinged production. The year already found him burning up the scene with a number of singles including “Lumbah“, “Love Problem“, and “Bubble Gum“, and he is not letting the energy die down no matter what. In a PR statement released through Signal Records, he shared, “Flava is about living large, chasing that paper and staying true to yourself. When I hit the studio for this one, I wanted to capture that vibe of ambition and confidence, and I think we nailed it. Flava is like an anthem for anyone hustling and grinding to make it big.“. His name secured high placements on many end of the year lists thanks to his various releases that not only did big numbers on Youtube and music streaming platforms, but earned lots of love in the streets. His “Bad Juvi” Mixtape started the fire, and with the release of the much-anticipated “Rich N Richer EP“.
