Since March 2025, we premiered a new weekly Playlist called, “What’s On 13th Street?“. Since then, we have featured over 600 new songs from Artists in and outside the Caribbean. Recording Artist Samory-I has been dropping heat this year, and he’s not outing the flames. With the lyrics being sharp as always, this Easter Weekend finds him giving fans something to rock to. Check out “Siren“.

The TunUp Squad-produced “Siren” features Dancehall Artist Govana, Samory-I is not causing a crime scene, but bringing in militancy. With a music video directed by DJuvii, the Artists speak on what goes in their communities, reflect on their pasts, but share that their backgrounds have shaped their present stances and presence when they hit the streets. This one is for the clean-hearted people, and Samory and Govi deliver a solid collaboration here. No matter where you’re from, this tune is bound to connect with you. How was your 2025? Was it filled with uplifting moments? Or did you experience plenty of stress? The good news is, we made it to 2026, and we have more opportunities to do some great things. Today, we do a quick reflection of the year where music is concerned. Many Artists enjoyed high moments, and earned viral success. Today, we look at “5 Songs That Went Viral In 2025“.

1. Masicka – Mute (Prod. by Atto & Din Din)

The 2020s has been good to Dancehall Artist Masicka. With two albums in, he has been building his way up to becoming Dancehall royalty. “Mute” found him at the top of his game, and his delivery showcased him being very secure. Social Media loved “Mute”, and kept it running all year through posts, giving it a lot of viral love. Lock di business with a suit indeed.

2. Ayetian Ft. Govana – Wah Yuh Deh Pon (Prod. by Nvtzz)

He waves two flags (Haiti and Jamaica), but Ayetian went global in 2025. While the previous year gave him breakout moments, “Wah Yuh Deh Pon” kept ringing in the ears of Dancehall lovers around the world. Whether you got hooked on the “Ram Putu nuh nyam Putu…” line on TikTok or you were glued to the music video, the Govana-featured single is in the top list of Ayetian’s growing catalogue.

Najeeriii Starts A New Chapter With Debut Album, “Book Of Bob”

The 2020s introduced Jamaica to a wave of new acts, and Dancehall Artist Najeeriii was a part of the pack to made bold steps. Armed with unorthodox flow and lyrics, the Deejay quickly earned his fame and secured a fast-growing fanbase. Controversy came his way as well, but the catalogue kept growing. He also had a few missteps, but he managed to maintain a presence. Before 2025 comes to an end, he had one task to complete, and that’s to release his debut album, “Book Of Bob“.

Featuring 12 tracks, Najeeriii starts a new chapter in his career with his debut album, “Book Of Bob”. The album stands as a product of the young Deejay’s hard work since his debut single, and opens up a lane for him to elevate. Like previous releases, he has something for the ladies, taps into the fast lifestyle, conjures music for the parties, and showcases his style that continues to stand out. Production on “Book Of Bob” include the likes of MXSSIVH, Franc White, Dan Sky, Yo Christon, DethWrld, YC Studios, and KP, while Govana, Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, Bayka, Skillibeng, and Yung Bredda join him throughout. Najeeri Smart has come a long way from creating songs in High School, and is ready to take major steps on the global stage.

DJ Mac Debuts His “Ups & Downs” With New Album

Jamaican Producer DJ Mac has been one of the names who successfully permeated the music scene with a number of hit singles and Riddims. Almost all of your faves have voiced on one of his beats, and his catalogue continues to expand. This time around he doesn’t have a new Riddim to promote, he’s delivering his debut project, and it’s called, “Ups & Downs“.

The “Ups & Downs” album is DJ Mac’s first official project. Featuring 13 tracks, this is a compilation featuring something for everyone, and future hits. With the work he has put in over the years, he cashes in his collaboration tokens for a star-studded ensemble who make the most of the sounds he shares throughout, including some he co-produces with the likes of Keno4star, Crash Dummy, 1 Villain, ChinnaMan, KBeats, and Fuze. Joining in on Mac’s debut project are the likes of Valiant, Kranium, Chronic Law, Christopher Martin, Skippa, D’Yani, Jquan, Govana, Nigy Boy, Tielo Lanez, Ai Milly, Voice, Skillibeng, Shenseea, and Tommy Lee Sparta. DJ Mac aims for a global impact, and “Ups & Downs” may just make it happen sooner.

Ding Dong Finally Releases Debut Album, “From Ding Dong To World Ding”

There are many kings in the Dancehall world, but in the realm of the dance culture, there are also a few kings, and Ding Dong is one of them. Since the 2000s, he has made his name in the streets as a Creator, and helped to advance the culture. With his rising fame, he delved into the music aspect, and scored a number of hits along the way. It all paid off for him as his brand became International, in recent years, a mainstay in Corporate Jamaica. With the success he amassed, there was something still missing, an album. Today, the Man born Kemar Ottey introduces his debut album, “From Ding Dong To World Ding“.

Consisting of 13 tracks, Ding Dong crosses a new milestone with the release of his 1st album, “From Ding Dong To World Ding”. The Deejay steadily built his catalogue over the years to get to this level, and he delivers a project that showcases what made him a legend, and has something for everybody to enjoy. The album’s energy was made possible in part to the production by the likes of Khalfani Records, Ricky Blaze, Felva, DJ Mac, Dunw3ll, Romeich Entertainment, and Bassick Records, and guest appearances by Skeng, Skillibeng, Kaka Highflames, Vanessa Bling, Stalk Ashley, Govana, Bravo Ravers, Popeye Caution, Afro B, and Busta Rhymes. Ding Dong’s musical journey had a few bumps in the road, but he has experienced the glory, and will write more chapters to the story.
