Recording Artist Yaksta is one of those who ensures that he gives thanks for the blessings that come his way. He speaks on it on, “Grateful“.

Produced by Big Laugh Music, Yaksta shows gratitude for the opportunities that have been brought his way, and reflects on his journey in “Grateful”. He speaks on the many things that are going on with people in the world today, and emphasizes the importance of not doing immoral deeds in order to achieve success. The track is accompanied by a Music Video directed by Zoomm Creative, and the video starts with Yaksta securing a new Vehicle, and throughout sharing a few highlights in his journey. Reggae/Dancehall Artist Yaksta has been consistent all year, and from new music to live performances, he always delivers. With the year coming to a close, he’s ensuring that the people get something more to enjoy. With that said, he released the Music Video for the single, “Gelato & Booze“.

Directed by Divine Global Production and featuring Dancehall Artist Jahshii, Yaksta celebrates good times, and promotes unity with “Gelato & Booze”. The video finds the Artists enjoying life with the ladies, interacting with their people in various locations, and share that life is great with the right things and people in it. The collaboration was produced by Young G’s Records, and no negative energy could stop this one from happening. There has been a lot going on in Jamaica in the past couple of weeks, but we hope that for 2025 there is a lot more unity, and positive interactions. Charly Black Promoted Unity With Star-Studded “One Chance” Festival In Manchester

On Saturday December 14, the Parish of Manchester was treated to a night of great performances thanks to the first staging of the “One Chance” Music Festival. Hosted by Dancehall Artist Charly Black, DJ Marvin, and Unstoppable Entertainment and held at the parking lot of Toast Restaurant & Gelato, the “One Chance” Music Festival was made to promote unity in Jamaican music and society, bring together a number of established and rising stars, and bring more specialized entertainment events in Manchester. Despite the late start for performances, patrons were treated to the selections from the likes of Bass Odyssey, DJ Sherlock, and ZJ Liquid, and those who needed something extra could grab a soup, boxed food, and a beverage of their choice nearby.

When it was time for the performances, the early segment gave way to a number of Mandeville-based Reggae/Dancehall Artists on the rise who displayed some of their best work. It was then followed by performances by the Tower Band who provided musical backing for Charly Black, who soon after brought on stage Yaksta, Yaadcore, Neeqah, Denyque, and X-Kappe, who brought along a number of his Artists. The first staging of the “One Chance” Music Festival showed that Music Festival deserves to be held in the Parish, and we look forward to a bigger, better event in 2025.

Recording Artist Yaksta celebrated his birthday this week, and with the new year comes new opportunities, and content. Having maintained some consistency this year, his numbers continue to grow, along with his catalogue. A few days ago, he shared the new single, “Pon Di Island“. Earlier, he shared the official music video.

Directed by Xtreme Arts, Yaksta gets everyone grooving in “Pon Di Island”. Whether he’s at a street dance with his people, chilling at the beach with a lovely lady, or dancing in the streets with a few Jonkonnu performers, the vibes can’t cease with the “Bush Lawd“. “Pon Di Island” was produced by Kabaka Pyramid, and released through Bebble Rock Music. Fans of Yaksta can look forward to him performing in a town near you in the coming days, and he is still putting in work on his sophomore album, which is set to be released in 2025. Rock and groove to this.

Yaksta has been bringing his “22” album to more people this year. With new content coming out in support of it, he’s taking care of the fans until he announces his sophomore album. He has been busy on the road too, and his live shows continue to garner praise, and a demand for more. Until he hits the road again, he gives us a visual for the much-loved track off the album, “Conscious Badness“.

Featuring Chronic Law, Yaksta gives the fans a visual fitting for the “Conscious Badness” track. The track was produced by Black State and Bush Music, it’s a meeting of the minds and a clash of strong lyricism, and with a visual direction by Divine Global, the Artists take it to the community, and bring out their warriors. Yaksta has secured a number of high profile collaborations over the years, and his “22” album packed a number of them. The “Law Boss” and the “Bush Lawd” are believed to have a few more collaborations in the vault, and we can’t wait to hear them. From St. Mary, to St. Thomas, to the world!
