Here he spoke about touring and receiving great feedback for his stage performances, his single “I’m A Big Deal” and the creation of the song, his EP and upcoming album, celebrating 10 years since his Digicel Rising Stars win, upcoming tours, and more. It’s crazy how time flies since Christopher Martin was a Rising Stars contestant. Looking forward to the full video for “I’m A Big Deal” as it features upcoming Comedian Prince Pine. Recently, Rapper J Cole visited Jamaica to shoot a music video, and of course enjoy the Island. Little did some of us know that he was also a part of a short film done by BBGun Films and Swiss Luxury brand, Bally. Directed by Maxim Bohichik, we see scenes where Cole visited the Bob Marley Museum, hanging out at Strawberry Hill, and hiking in the Blue Mountains. Featuring some new Bally gear, we also hear J Cole’s “Note To Self” and “Love Yourz“. Pretty dope video, and even better that it was shot here. Today, our Island sees 53 years of Independence and showing love to his home is Singjay Wayne J. Accompanied with his family, they sing a medley of songs including Mr. Vegas’ “Sweet Jamaica”, Tony Rebel’s “Sweet Jamdown”, Everton Blender’s “Lift Up Your Head” and more. Dropping some new production today is Kris Karz! Here he created a remix Instrumental to N.E.R.D.’s “Tape You” song from their debut album, “In Search Of…“. Featuring samples of the song, a bit from Andre 3000’s “Where Are My Panties?” skit from “The Love Below” and some female moans, this would be even better if Pharrell, Chad and Shay blessed it with their vocals.
