Some rainy nights are needed. Today’s new music comes from “Mr. Ruff-It-Up“, Chino McGregor. Titled “Wet Weather Music” and produced by Di Genius, we hear Chino dropping suggestive lyrics that makes you want to reach for your lover and make things happen. The production is really on point here as it reminds me of Mad Cobra’s “Flex“. Can we have a quick fight so we can have make up sex? Hurry up and come fi the love. Titled “Guns Dem Load” and produced by JR Records, we hear them reaching out to the ghetto youths and letting them know that even though times are hard they don’t have to take the badman route. Ghetto yutes wise up for the world is yours. It’s dread out a road but positive energy is needed. Great hearing three different artists coming together for something good. On tonight’s episode of Onstage, Winford Williams had a chat with Reggae artist Protoje. Here he spoke about his recent tours overseas and the effects on the fans, calling out the government on not fully supporting the music culture of Jamaica, the growth of Reggae music worldwide, why he chose a Reggae career, Edna Manley School of the Visual and Performing Arts and his band IndiggNation.
