After giving people great music over the years, Reggae artist/TV Personality Levi Roots decided to spread his entrepreneurial wings and give people all over the world a piece of Jamaica. On tonight’s episode of Onstage he spoke on his upbringing, being unable to fully educate himself before leaving Jamaica for the UK at age 11, his Reggae Reggae Sauce brand, the sauce’s success and launching it in Jamaica, his plans to produce the sauce in Jamaica, his experiences with the brand, his future ambitions and more. Great Interview, I may be a little late to the brand but I do hope it’s very successful here. I like the ad for it as well. I wonder if Levi is hiring. After being taken under the wing of Sly & Robbie recently, D.I. has been working hard at making some hits that will really rock the airwaves. Tonight on Onstage she spoke about her career so far, her collaborative album with Sly & Robbie called “D.I. The Rebel“, her single “Rebel” being a huge hit, her new single “My Man“, changes in her preparation and delivery of her music, her recent tour with Gyptian, gaining new fans and future plans. Oh lawd it’s another full length effort from the Rapper/Singer/Deejay called Hard Dayz. Titled “Dayz Go By“, this features 11 tracks for the ladies, thugs, and stoners. Dayz even made a 2Pac tribute and spat lyrics over “’93 Til Infinity“. With features from Vindon, Eon Smith, The Protocol, Tonii Carise and others, Dayz never failed to catch the listener’s attention. Good effort, I like that he did those old school hip hop instrumentals some justice. He’s a problem, feed him green. Check out the mixtape below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
In what seemed like a nail biter tonight, teams Xtina, Ceelo, Blake and Adam all had to send some of their members home.
