OLDIES SUNDAY: Frighty & Colonel Mite – Life (Is What You Make It) (1988)

Enjoying your Easter weekend? How about a throwback? Today’s Oldies Sunday selection comes from the duo of Recording Artists Frighty and Colonel Mite. Going back to the year 1988, we check out “Life (Is What You Make It)“! Produced and released by Y&D (with releases through Mogul Records and Profile Records in 1989), the duo expressed their desire to give the ladies that “Raggamuffin Love“, and gave us that feel good vibes throughout the song. The single was very popular since its release in the UK and Jamaica, and even made its way onto the US Billboard Charts in the early ’90s.

Since the single’s release, Frighty and Colonel Mite went on to produce more music together and as solo Artists with Colonel’s last being in the early 2000s, while Frighty’s was in 2016. “Life (Is What You Make It)” is still being played to this day.
