The Rebel Danielle D.I. has returned with a world-class record. After spending quality time in the studio with iconic producers, Sly and Robbie and launching her own line of “Rebel Accessories,” the thought-provoking artiste is back with a hit-bound single titled, Class. The lyrics encourage females to embrace a high self-esteem and strive for an exquisite lifestyle.

“It is a part of my role as an artiste to influence young ladies positively. I believe that women are to be wealthy and in control just as their male counterparts. At the end of the day it’s about prosperity and living a quality life. I want girls to make wise choices, stay focused and be at the top of their class,” Danielle D.I. says.

Class was produced by New-York based hit makers, LMR Pro and is available on I-Tunes for preorder until the official release later this month. Recently Danielle D.I. made headlines after posting a photo celebrating America’s Independence.

“Three photos were uploaded with the eagle, stars and stripes covering me. I received notification that I breached Instagram rules. After regaining access to my account, one of my close up body shots from the rear was removed. To me that is breaking the first amendment – freedom of expression. I was expressing myself in an artistic way. We have nude statues and paintings across the world and they all represent something. The message I was sending as a US citizen was that, we are the land of the free and the home of the brave,” Danielle D.I. explained.

@ArtistClipC Casts His “Rainbow”

London-Born Singjay Clip C has always felt connected to his Jamaican roots and he’s hoping his latest single will find favour with them. The track, Like A Rainbow, is produced Deano Deann and was released last month. The song has an accompanying music video. “The song is being well received. It has a warm summer vibes, especially with the females, due to the obvious Caribbean influence. DJs claim it is a sure summer hit,” he said. “It’s a colourful song highlighting my passion for beautiful women. This song has the potential to be a hit not only for the summer, but for many seasons due to its understandable lyrics.”

Distributed by Zojak World Wide, Like A Rainbow is available for purchases on iTunes and all other digital outlets. Born in United Kingdom, Clip C’s (given name Marcus Spence) grandparents hail from St Elizabeth. “St Elizabeth and Cedar Grove in Manchester are second home,” he said. He got his musical break in 2013 with the release of Chance It (Buzwakk Records). His other singles include Touch You and She Wants Me.

Clip C is also upbeat on a soon-to- be released track entitled Liff Up. “Liff Up is with Stylo G. It is a UK/Dancehall vibe song directed at the ladies of the world with the more voluptuous figures.” The Singjay said he’s intent on making himself a household name. “My aim is to solidify my name as a household brand in the UK and the Dancehall Industry by spreading positive messages of upliftment to the world,” said Clip C.

Silkki Wonda continues to add to his long roster of self-produced music with the addition of his latest single “Time and Space”. The single, featuring rising artiste Dexta Malawi, addresses the lack of showing peace and love in the modern era that seems inconvenient for many. “Where is your mind? Into Time and Space. Where is that love I give to you with no dismay?”

With a rocking melody that will have you moving; Silkki continues his strong tone of positive word play and the use of Reggae-Hip Hop beats to express his views on the neglect and ignorance showed towards ghetto youths and others who are in need. Dexta Malawi makes a strong appearance on the track that results in a successful collaboration. Time and Space can be heard via Soundcloud and Youtube.

@DonAndre Pays Tribute To @UsainBolt With “Jog (Remix)”!

New sensation, Don Andre has released the remix to his new track, Jog. This new version was inspired by, the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt. “Firstly, I am a huge fan of Bolt. He sends the message that anything is possible. He’s an icon no doubt. I rewrote the lyrics in his honor and for us to show our respect and cheer him on for possibly his final Olympics,” Don Andre says.

Over the weekend Don Andre performed, Jog – “The Bolt Remix” for the first time at Club Amazura in New York, to much excitement. Marvin “The Beast” led a troupe of skilled dancers that included international Choreographer, Blacka who has worked with Rihanna and Major Lazer. They completed an energetic set for the Soca vs Dancehall event.

You catch Don Andre in action this Saturday performing at the YMZ concert with Disney Channel Star Ross Lynch and his band R5, as well as Whip/Nae Nae singer, Silento, in addition to Bling Dawg. He is also billed to appear at Reggae Sumfest andPhiladelphia Jerk Festival on August 28th in Fairmount Park.

He might be new to the industry, but he definitely has his sights vividly set on the prize and is determined to make his name a household fixture, and dreams of being known worldwide. Ready to get his career off to a blazing start and poised to work with the best in the music Industry, Geno is determined to leave his mark on this planet. At a young age, Geno recognized his talent and decided that he wanted to use his unique sound, diverse writing style and inspirational lyrics to set himself apart from anyone. His creative process involves him writing songs while listening to the rhythm selections, meditating, and creating the ultimate vibe as he pens his lyrics. Giving a voice to the voiceless and taking Jamaica back to the being the wonderful Paradise it once was is Geno’s aim. While he hasn’t gotten an opportunity to collaborate with any established Artistes or perform on a live stage as yet, Geno knows that the people of Jamaica will be yearning for his music once it hits their ears. Devin Di Dakta has been booked for the newly revamped Reggae Sumfest. The artiste who recently released the collaboration with dancehall’s new naughty girl RR entitled ‘Rev Out Di RR’ is now eager to hit the stage with RR by his side. Both artistes signed to the John John Music Group label have been receiving great reviews for the single and airplay locally and internationally.

RR has collaborated with artistes such as Movado, Sizzla and Bay C to name a few.  Additionally, she has been working with several producers on releasing new sizzling dancehall singles for the summer. RR said “I am excited that Devin has invited me to perform with him on Reggae Sumfest. This will be my first time and I am preparing for a mind blowing performance”. Devin added “RR is a growing brand and she is an incredible talent, we have great chemistry on stage”.

Manager for both artistes Shelly-Ann Curran of John John Music Group is also excited about the venture and is satisfied with the progress of both acts. “What we have at John John Music Group is a double dose of passion and talent so we believe that they will leave their mark on Reggae Sumfest”.
