OLDIES SUNDAY: Fantan Mojah – Hail The King (2004)

On July 14, the Reggae world lost another Ambassador, Recording Artist Fantan Mojah. Since the 2000s, Mojah was one of the strongest voices in Reggae, delivering solid music, and taking the sounds to various parts of the world. He will be missed by many, and on “Oldies Sunday“, we pay a small tribute to him and his music. Today, we go back in time to check out, “Hail The King“.

Produced by Black & White and released through Downsound Records in 2004, it was all about gratitude to the Creator in Fantan Mojah’s “Hail The King”. The track found Mojah giving thanks from the moment he rises, and emphasizes that it takes nothing to do so. A song that was made to tap into one’s spirituality, Mojah put his all into the recording, and it was well-received. “Hail The King” enjoyed chart success, and held a major part in Fantan Mojah’s sets, with most times closing those sets. The track was featured on his 2005 debut album of the same name.

Since the release of “Hail The King”, Fantan Mojah went on to gain more success as a Reggae Artist with a number of hit singles. He experienced some decline in the later years, but was still heavily booked overseas. He had some health scares as well, but on July 14, 2026, he would suffer heart complications, and passed away at the University Hospital of the West Indies. Despite the loss, his music will continue to live on, with many still rising to “Hail The King”.

Thank You Fantan Mojah for this hit! Sleep Well.

Tifa "Show Mi Di Wine" on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica #Dancehall #Music #13thStreetPromotions #Tifa #ShowMiDiWine #ItsTheTifa #DigitalOneProduction #BackToTheCultureRiddim #Caribbean

.@ItsTheTifa Empowers The Ladies With “Show Mi Di Wine”

One thing with Dancehall Artist Tifa, she will have a song or few loaded for the ladies to dance to, and take centerstage. With a couple decades in, she still shows that her song creation skills are ever present, and her voice still rocks crowds. With everyone tapping into the old school vibe this year, she mixes something old with the new through her new single, “Show Mi Di Wine“.

Produced by Digital One Productions on the “Back To The Culture Riddim“, Tifa wants the ladies to stand out and profess the skills they possess to hold that Man in, “Show Mi Di Wine”. Inspired by old Jamaican folk songs and some of her previous releases, this track was in the running to be a part of a popular Riddim, but things didn’t go as planned, so she took matters in her own hands, and made the right connection for an official release. Tifa continues to show staying power, and when the track hits the parties, expect some very proud Women to take over the dance floor and make their statements. Tifa continues to share the music with more people through International bookings, and is expected to have the people raving in New York this weekend. You can’t deny the T.I.F.A.
