Dancehall Artist Rytikal has been consistently putting in the work and becoming one of the hottest acts to emerge in the past 2 years. He covers various topics, he shows that he is always elevating his lyricism, and he instantly connects with the people through his flow and delivery. Never missing an opportunity to provide some motivation, he gives us a dose with the video for “Man Of The Moment“.

Directed by Dream Life Image Photography, Rytikal takes himself to the hills to find some peace and be away from all negativity. He gives us a great message over a Riddim produced in conjunction with Dynasty Entertainment/Attomatic Records/Rytikal Music Group/Hemton Music, and we can expect this single to travel very far. Are there any Bike lovers here? What is your favourite Bike? How about a Yeng Yeng Bike? Since the emergence of the Yeng Yeng Bike on Jamaican roads, it has been a great convenience for some, and a great annoyance for others. Jobs have been created thanks to them, while others use them for wrongdoing. Dancehall Artist Busy Signal shares his annoyances and gives a warning in the video for “Yeng Yeng“.

Shot in Kingston, we see Busy Signal having a not so great time with a few Yeng Yeng riders in the video. Paranoia hits while he’s driving among them, and he shares that it can be a pain to hear them. We also see the evils some of the riders do to common folk, and they share their spoils among each other in the end. Busy Signal delivers as usual on the track, and video helps to bring more Yeng Yeng Bikes to more screens, either making viewers heed to more warning, or fueling their interest in acquiring one. Remember Ninja Bikes?

Dancehall Artist 10Tik is one of the fast rising acts to emerge in the past couple years. He has steadily built his following, and fed the streets some hard hitting music. Ready to take his career to another level and become one of the dominant Artists of this year, 10Tik steps out with something new called, “Activ“.

Produced by Blackbridge Music and 10Tik City Inc., 10Tik brings a different energy with some melody on “Activ”. He name drops the late Christopher Michael Coke a.k.a. Jim Brown, and makes the claim that he and his crew run Uptown. Expect nuff badness here, and 10Tik continues to show why he’s an Artist you need to hear. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Hybrid Media Concepts, and it finds 10Tik moving from toasting to success with his people, to being interrogated by the Feds, to making KingPin moves that would find him being a free man within minutes. Since hitting it big with the single “Humans“, he has been dropping great collaborations, and tracks that have been connecting with many around the world. Still on a mission to deliver good music, he is gearing up to give the people more this year. Recently he gave us “Calm N Steady“, and now he gives us the single, “Deja Vu“.

Produced by Droptop Records, Nation Boss takes a look on his life, and takes over the Riddim to provide some words for the people. Classics From The Paragons & Tommy McCook Featured In New @DeathInParadise Episode!

Jamaican music continues to seep through some of your favourite pieces of content daily, and some of your favourite TV shows are continuing to get a piece of the vibes. Last week we highlighted a Popcaan classic being featured in “Power Book IV: Force“, and this week we’re highlighting something from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Familiar with the series called “Death In Paradise“? Then follow this article for more.

On the 8th episode of the 11th series/season of “Death In Paradise”, classics from Jamaican Icons The Paragons and Tommy McCook were featured. The Paragons were up first with their classic, “Man Next Door” a.k.a. “I’ve Got To Get Away“. The single was released in 1968 through a few labels including Duke Records and Amalgamated Records, and featured vocals from the late John Holt and Bob Andy. Tommy McCook & The Supersonics were next up later in the episode with their 1970 classic, “Reggae Merengue“. This Instrumental was released through Treasure Isle Records, and was sampled by UK Artist Lily Allen.

“Death In Paradise” is a British–French crime drama television series that is set on the fictional Island of Saint Marie. Jamaican Actress Shantol Jackson is featured in Series/Season 11 as Sergeant Naomi Thomas.

There are many Reggae Artists, but there is ONE Sizzla Kalonji. With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Sizzla has been one of the biggest contributors to Jamaica’s music culture, providing new sounds, a different energy, and of course timeless hits. His career is nothing short of amazing, but his next move proved to be historical. Last night (February 26), Sizzla took centerstage with his “Rise To The Occasion” concert during Reggae Month 2022!

Backed by a 35 piece Reggae Orchestra which was conducted by the iconic Ibo Cooper and arranged by famed Composer Jon Williams, the legendary Dean Fraser and his All-Star Band, and joined by the L’Acadco Dance Force, we were tuned in to Sizzla giving us the many reasons why he is one of Jamaica’s music legends. Hit after hit, the music flowed beautifully, and Sizzla was in top form. With Sizzla being the first Reggae/Dancehall Artist to perform with a 35 piece Orchestra, this will definitely pave the way for more Artists to expand their Artistry and creativity.
