Medical Professional/Social Commentator/Comedian/Human Rights Advocate Dr. Michael Abrahams has dabbled in various fields over the years with the intention to help the people, and bring awareness to various topics. While some of his deliveries entertain many, his messages are always serious, and he’s at the frontline armed and ready. He steps out once again with “Break Di Silence“.

On a Wayne Armond-produced track, Dr. Michael Abrahams calls out the child Predators on “Break Di Silence”. With stories of the nation’s youth being victims of abuse and various unfortunate events, Abrahams brings more awareness to the situations through his content, in hopes that the abusers are brought to justice. With a video done in collaboration with the None in Three (Ni3) Research Centre and UTech’s CAT Productions, we see a scenario where a Teenage Girl is making her way to School when a Predator tries to make a move on her. Thanks to a few Neighbours, the move was thwarted, and the Predator chased away. This one is for Jamaica, and the world, break the silence on these cases, and protect our Children!

Ghana bites her tongue for no one however as she teams up with Producer Dale Virgo on “Silence The Dread“! Released through DZL Records, Ghana brings awareness to the many forms of abuse Women suffer at the hands of men all over the world. She also puts the spotlight on those who know about the abuse in the home, but turn a blind eye to it all. This song calls for more discussion on these matters, and more people to put into action that those who practice these types of abuse should be brought to justice.

Bringing a strong message during “Women’s History Month“, this is just a small part of Ghana’s rollout as she is finalizing her debut EP, “Gypsy Dread” to be released in June through DZL Records. If you were a witness to her live performances like at the recently held “9th Element” event in Kingston, then get ready for more as she plans to announce more shows in the coming days. Today, he sheds light on troubled women in “Broken Home“. Directed by Spugy Ink Films, 3Dot states over the Dre Day produced track that even though he loves the “Bad girl” types, many of them have a story to tell that made them who they are. From abuse, a troubled childhood, to troubling finding love and acceptance, Lincoln lets the listeners know that many young girls lost in the world. With a single that reminds you of Ludacris’ “Runaway Love” and Nas’ “Black Girl Lost“, “Broken Home” could be mentioned with them when discussing serious issues in society among young women.
