“Fraid me buss dem secret…“
With lyrics that will have you thinking but also moving, Ghana is an Artist to watch this year and beyond. Ghana bites her tongue for no one however as she teams up with Producer Dale Virgo on “Silence The Dread“! Released through DZL Records, Ghana brings awareness to the many forms of abuse Women suffer at the hands of men all over the world. She also puts the spotlight on those who know about the abuse in the home, but turn a blind eye to it all. This song calls for more discussion on these matters, and more people to put into action that those who practice these types of abuse should be brought to justice.
Bringing a strong message during “Women’s History Month“, this is just a small part of Ghana’s rollout as she is finalizing her debut EP, “Gypsy Dread” to be released in June through DZL Records. If you were a witness to her live performances like at the recently held “9th Element” event in Kingston, then get ready for more as she plans to announce more shows in the coming days. She cannot be moved, muzzled, or put down when she’s lashing out against injustice! Lyric video by Hanna Phoenix, check out the track below, and share with a friend. Sunday funday! We’re back with another episode of the Kngly Studios & Kris Karz produced series, “Kngly Live!“. Giving you nothing but talented Artists in a acoustic setting, this is what you need for not only on a Sunday, but for everyday! This week, an Artist who is no stranger to the series, Kapital Stone, is back with a new performance! With Wizzmer providing the Guitar, they perform the Kris Karz produced, “Hate Then Love“. In the song, Stone aims to spread awareness on Domestic Abuse as he tries to help an old friend who is experiencing it. An Issue that is still very much a serious one, Kapital Stone delivers it in the best way he could, and closes it off with a few lyrics from Legendary Singer Sade’s “By Your Side“.
We hope you’re loving the selections every week from “Kngly Live!”. Please show your support by subscribing to the Youtube channel, and visiting and purchasing some Merchandise from KnglyStudios.com. Check out the clip below.
Jamaican Rapper Lxrd Ezzi could’ve used his talents to speak on topics you hear every other Artist talk about nowadays, but instead he addresses love and Domestic Violence on “Keep Moving“. Produced by JayEDGE, Ezzi speaks on the effects of Domestic Violence, and how love can help to heal the emotional scars. An issue that is sometimes overlooked, it is up to Artists like Ezzi to help bring awareness, and Organizations to help educate the masses about Domestic Violence. The song was also made to motivate those who are going through it and other issues to speak up, be free and rise above the oppression. This is the first single off Lxrd Ezzi’s upcoming “Music For The Deaf” project. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
