The people have crowned him a King, and he continues to reign in his territory. For years, Ghana’s Shatta Wale has been dominating his Dancehall space, and his feats have made many compare him to some of the Dancehall greats in Jamaica. Last year, he made a formal introduction to Jamaica at Vybz Kartel’s “Freedom Street” Concert, despite having a presence here years before thanks to various releases and collaborations. He has come a long way, and he reflects in the “Rolls Royce“.

Produced by Damaker and Altrayd, Shatta Wale is living his best life in “Rolls Royce”. The Deejay looks back at the work it took for him to make it to the top, shows appreciation for the success he has gained, and looks forward to achieving even more, and motivating others in the process. Shatta has become quite the Businessman having scored hits, secured deals, and launched various initiatives, and his “Shatta Movement” continues to grow. Produced by Kraizee, Joey and Crayon share their love for the ladies over some production that will have you moving. The visual highlights a number of beautiful ladies in all flavours and styles, emphasizing the song’s dedication to them. “If I Dey Lie” was originally released in 2023, but the new version with Crayon looks to attract even more listeners, taking Almost Joey to new markets. The Ghanian giant Stonebwoy is here to make the world go ’round again with new music. He’s ready to make the 4th quarter of 2024 a very interesting time, and have all 2025 anticipating his next moves. His fans have been awaiting this, so he finally unleashed the new album, “Up & Runnin6“.

Featuring 13 tracks, Stonebwoy has something for everybody in his “Up & Runnin6” album.  The followup to the award-winning “5th Dimension” finds the “1GAD” Artist on a higher tier, with new vibes, new sounds, and an expansion on his lyricism. Production on “Up & Runnin6” include the likes of Mix Master Garzy, Sammy Soso, Ginton, Tk Kayembe, Samsney, and Streetbeatz, while Stonebwoy invited the likes of Spice, Kaylan Arnold, Amaria BB, Jahmiel, Blvk H3ro, and Wyclef Jean to join him on a number of tracks. He has leveled up to “Overlord” status, and he’s focused on conquering more territories, further strengthening his reign as one of the best. Time to get your speakers ready for new music.

Jamaican Music is global, and that’s something that will never get old. When it comes to Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel, his music connects with many around the globe. So much so that there are Artists who are heavily influenced by him. There are too many to name, but there are examples like Shatta Wale being the “Vybz Kartel of Africa/African Dancehall“, Skillibeng and Sikka Rymes look up to the “World Boss” as a Mentor, and in recent time, Kenyan Dancehall Artist Rudra Kartel is inspired by him. He gained recognition in the late 2010s for sounding like the Deejay on a track, and since then, the comparisons have been consistent. Recently, he shared the Music Video for the single, “Manzi Wa Nairobi“.

Directed by Kenani Shot It, Rudra Kartel shares his love for the ladies in “Manzi Wa Nairobi”. The African countries have blessed the world with many beautiful Women, but there’s something special about a “Girl brought up in Nairobi“. Kartel can be seen canoodling with a love interest throughout the video, and he definitely gives off the embodiment of Vybz Kartel through his flow, and image. “Manzi Wa Nairobi” was produced by KingPheezle and Jojay for Stray Music, and was featured on Kartel’s “Ghetto Kartel Vol. 1” project from 2023. Kartel has been finding popularity on the TikTok platform for some time, and he has a fanbase that if handled properly, could grow to the levels of Vybz Kartel’s.
