Get Familiar With Producer Steel Chest In New Short Film

The Parish of Manchester has been a hotbed for plenty of talent for decades. Over the years, a number of Producers have been steadily making their names be known, with Sanjay Norman a.k.a. Steel Chest being one of them. Since the early 2010s, Steel Chest has been steering his Ship named “Outta Space Records“, providing sounds for local talent, and Artists on the rise outside of the Parish. The label would soon change its name to “Steel Chest Records“, and become a driving force for some of the newer crop of Artists who have been gaining attention thanks to Social Media. Ahead of his birthday (October 18), we share with you, “Steel Chest – A Short Film“.

Shot at his Steel Chest Studio in Manchester, we caught up with the Producer to learn about his history, switching careers to pursue music, believing in the youth, what drives him to make music, and some of the names he has worked with. Steel Chest’s name has been mentioned by some of the best in the business, and today many of you will put the face to the name. Keep watching to hear what he’s cooking up as well. 2026 has been good to the Producer, and he’s ready for the next level.

Sometimes when you’re in the midst of some tension, instead facing it with anger, you approach with a smile. Sounds crazy, but that’s what UK Artist Digga did recently. Facing beef with fellow Artist Morrison, he channeled energy that could’ve been used for something drastic, into something fun for everyone. What is it? It’s his new released called, “Girls All Around The World“.

Produced by OhNine and ProdBy6aby and sampling King Jammy’s “I Know The Score Riddim/Mean Girl Riddim“, Digga does his own form of trolling during a beef with Morrison, which resulted in, “Girls All Around The World”. A few days ago, Morrison sent a slew of disses for the Rapper, with one making fun of him leaning into Dancehall Music (as evidenced by his recent collabs with Masicka and Malie Donn). Digga acknowledged the disses by creating a Dancehall song for the ladies to throw off things. Previews of the song quickly went viral on Social Media, with fans asking for the official release. A follow up video was made that was directed by AN Films, and it finds Digga enjoying outside with the ladies. With the song’s growing popularity, it may cover more ground than the diss track, or be a part of a sneak attack. Sometimes, it’s not all about fighting fire with fire. One must be strategic when dealing with the enemy. Anyway, we got new vibes for the weekend. Tune in!

Relationships have good times, and bad times. Some say take the bitter with the sweet, others say jump off the second it goes bad. In the end, we all want something that means us well. Recording Artist Armanii knows he wants the right person, but he doesn’t want to be a fool. He shares his thoughts in, “Second Choice“.

Produced by Sartout Records, Armanii grabs some wine, and has an honest conversation with his love interest in, “Second Choice”. Being in a relationship is good and all, but if you weren’t your partner’s first choice, things will unravel in a negative way. Nobody wants to be the runner up or be the “just in case” person, and he expresses that he will walk away before ever being seen in that light. With an accompanying music video, the convo finds Armanii having the convo over wine with his lady, before we get a performance bit in the end. Look out for a new project from Armanii hitting the streams in a few weeks.

.@YvngEv Takes Inspiration From The Caribbean For New Music, Releases “Too Experienced”

Brooklyn-based Recording Artist Yvng Ev understands how important it is to know your roots. Having Jamaican parentage helped to shape a lot of things in his life, especially the music. While he taps into R&B, when there’s a dash of Island sounds in it, the world gets a product that goes far. Over the past few months, he has drawn inspiration from Dancehall and Reggae hits for a number of his own creations, and they have been catching on.

In 2025, Yvng Ev released, “Easy Gyal“. Produced by AusGod, Ev sings about getting caught up with a Woman who is hard to resist. Sampling Wayne Wonder’s “No Letting Go” from 2002, the track was featured on his “Trench Town Love” EP. The EP would also feature a sample of Vincentian Artist Kevin Lyttle’s “Turn Me On” from 2003 on “Good Sex & Ganja“. Come July 2026, returned with “Tight Up Skirt“, and as the title suggests, he sampled Red Rat’s 1997 hit single. The track would be taken down soon after due to sample clearances. Despite that, August 2026 would find him tapping into a sample of Bitty Mclean’s “Walk Away From Love” from 2004 for the single, “Don’t Love You“, and then followed up with “Too Experienced“. “Too Experienced” was co-produced with Dexter Yu, and sampled Barrington Levy’s 1990 classic single of the same name. Ev has been enjoying some Social Media love for his releases, with users requesting more. Not sticking to one style, he looks to expand his sound in the future, and with the right backing, get some sample clearances out of the way.

The Drama Intensifies In Elephant Man’s “Eyelash” Video

Recently, Dancehall Artist Elephant Man released the single, “Eyelash“. Since then, the air in many households got tense, with arguments flying left and right. All is not well, and the drama continues with the music video for the single.

Directed by Rojhay Anderson and featuring Social Media personalities Deeman and Bad Sekki, Elephant Man is trying to set things straight while the drama unfolds in, “Eyelash”. While many Men believe in having multiple partners, when one partner decides that she wants a bigger role, things will be done to start fights, with the hopes of them becoming the main one, or the disrupter. The three Men experience their own situations in the clip, and may have struck a nerve with many viewers. Good to see the current batch of Social Media personalities showing up in content with Elephant Man, and we know there will be more of it in the future. Shukkle Buss says be careful out there.
