Comprised of 16 tracks, Dmitri speaks on the day to day struggles in society, Social Media, relationship issues, his Rastafarian faith, and of course helping listeners to be more conscious. @Protoje’s “Answer To Your Name” Featured In New @LethalWeaponFox Episode!

It’s been over two years since the release of Recording Artist Protoje’s “Ancient Future“, and it’s still a banger! What’s your favourite song off of it? Still wish it won a Grammy. If you’re a viewer of the hit FOX TV series Lethal Weapon, then you might’ve heard a familiar song from the Artist in their latest episode. Kicking off the first 30 seconds was the first single off the 2015 Album, “Answer To Your Name“! Produced by Winta James and Lewis Planter, Protoje went into storytelling mode on this one and had influences of Ska throughout the Production.

Lethal Weapon is a TV series based on the popular “Buddy Cop” Comedy Movie franchise which stars Comedian Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford. The Movie starred Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Sidenote: Congrats to the new Dad Protoje, we hope the Lion Cub is ready for a fun life filled with good music and sights to see. Check out the clip below.

Get To Packing: Vybz Kartel Says “Don’t Come Back” In New Song!

Ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha… The “World Boss” Vybz Kartel is back at it again with a new song! Titled “Don’t Come Back” and released through Vybz Kartel Muzik, Addi gives us a different flow this time around as he ridicules ungrateful women, having nary a problem with a woman as he still can get whichever one he chooses, declaring himself as the “One Don” and should have a holiday in his honour, and further exhibiting that he is one of the best out there. Fresh off the Video premiere of “Girlfriend” with Busta Rhymes and Tory Lanez, we know some new collabs are in the works for him. No long talking, get familiar with the new Kartel below!

While there are those who are heavily influenced by the 90’s and Underground movements, the new wave are influenced by the “Trap Music” culture. One of those acts who has started to make some noise in recent times is Gotti OG. A member of Jamaican Creative Deth’s (a.k.a. ShotByDeth) “FOREVER” Label (More on that later), he kicks off the month of October with “WockStar“! Produced by Cloud Beats, Gotti speaks on the life of a RockStar complete with beautiful ladies at his reach, acquiring designer gear, and making his presence felt everywhere with his crew.
