After being taken under the wing of Sly & Robbie recently, D.I. has been working hard at making some hits that will really rock the airwaves. Tonight on Onstage she spoke about her career so far, her collaborative album with Sly & Robbie called “D.I. The Rebel“, her single “Rebel” being a huge hit, her new single “My Man“, changes in her preparation and delivery of her music, her recent tour with Gyptian, gaining new fans and future plans. Oh lawd it’s another full length effort from the Rapper/Singer/Deejay called Hard Dayz. Titled “Dayz Go By“, this features 11 tracks for the ladies, thugs, and stoners. Dayz even made a 2Pac tribute and spat lyrics over “’93 Til Infinity“. With features from Vindon, Eon Smith, The Protocol, Tonii Carise and others, Dayz never failed to catch the listener’s attention. Not getting enough love at home? Looks like you may have to make a house call! Today’s new music comes from Dreggae and this features singer Jewel Melissa. Titled “House Call” and produced by FrassTwinz, we hear Dreggae making moves to give a lady some good loving that she’s missing at home and details how it should be handled while Jewel provides some of the vocals. Today’s new video comes from the unlikely collaboration of Gospel deejay Prodigal Son and Dancehall artist Konshens. Titled “I Am Going Home” and directed by Professa and Dr. Lex, we hear both artists speak on not becoming a part of the statistics and wanting the escape the traps whether mental or physical prisons. Simple video from the artists, interesting to have a man bound by chains as well. Free yourself, don’t be apart of the statistics.
