Goody Plum Samples The Classic “Kuff” For New Single

In 1988, a Dancehall Artist stepped up and said, “Man fi get kuff“. That Artist was Shelly Thunder, and she shared that statement for the Men who dared to step out in a relationship. We don’t condone domestic violence over here, but we believe in people getting Karma for their deeds, good and bad. In 2026, Recording Artist/Content Creator Goody Plum channels that statement for her new single, “Kuff“.

Produced by Money Matters Entertainment and sampled Shelly Thunder’s “Kuff“, Goody Plum is not the one to mess with in a relationship, and for any betrayal, she will “Kuff” them. With a music video co-starring fellow Content Creator Dogbed as the deceptive lover, Goody knows that something is off, and she won’t stop until she gets to the bottom of it. With a mix of Comedy and music, Goody Plum shows us how things can get when one partner experiences betrayal. Some will let it slide, others play the long game, and others get active immediately. It’s that time. Canada’s own Drake returns to the scene in a huge way with a trio of album releases. “Iceman“, “Maid Of Honour“, and “Habibti” serves as his return to the top spot after releasing a joint album with PartyNextDoor, and recovering from his much talked about battle with fellow Rapper, Kendrick Lamar. With 43 tracks, he has covered plenty ground, and with a few features throughout, it’s this feature on “Maid Of Honour” we focus on. He links up with an old friend here.

On Drake’s “Maid Of Honour”, Dancehall Artist Popcaan joins him on the track, “Amazing Shape“. As with previous collabs, this one is aimed at the ladies, and with the mix of Jamaica and Canada, it’s “OVO Unruly” again. Popcaan was signed to OVO Sound in 2013, and severed ties in 2023, but remains on good terms with Drake, even supporting during his battle with Kendrick Lamar. “Amazing Shape” is just one of the many tracks that ladies will be tuning in to on “Maid Of Honour”. “New Bestie“, another track on the album, features Drake speaking in Patois, and shouting out Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel, who we thought would make an appearance. The track “BBW” features a sample of Trini Artist Denise Belfon’s classic “Put Your Back In It“. The album along with “Iceman” and “Habibti” are out now.

Dancehall Artist Alkaline is still covering more ground with his latest album, “NPT“. Many are still considering it one of the best releases of the year, and the streaming numbers continue to grow. Alka is also ensuring that additional is being made to support the album. Recently he shared the visual for “Gyal Good“, and now he premieres, “Graduate“.

Directed by BadGee and ShotByDeth, Alkaline takes it to the streets in the video for, “Graduate”. One of the album faves for many, “Graduate” was produced by Sartout Records/AutoBamb Records, and it finds the Deejay being aware of those who seek to harm him, and ensures he’s protected wherever he is. This year saw him take on stages, flood the streets with new music, secure more assets, grow his family and fanbase, and connect with old and friends. He has a lot going on, even a love affair. Produced by Greedy Lion Records/Silver Bird Records/Vybz Kartel Muzik, Vybz Kartel presents an R&B love affair called, “Don’t Mess Up”. He taps into the R&B with a story of love that had strong beginnings, and endured some stumbles throughout. They may be on different paths at times, but Kartel knows she’s very special to him, and when they link up, it’s a moment in History. When the love is strong, two hearts will always connect. Vybz Kartel continues to build his post-Prison catalogue, and is still reeling off him collaboration with US R&B Artist Chris Brown for his recently-released “Brown” album. Jada Kingdom Joins Govana On “Mi Seh (Remix)”

Jada Kingdom and Govana make great collaborations. Many first heard them on “Better Than That“, and more recently they scorched the scene with “Pull Over“. I do believe they should make a joint project, the fans would truly enjoy it. The argument could be made even more as Jada joins Govana on “Mi Seh (Remix)“.

Produced by Shakespeare, Jada Kingdom and Govana keep it raunchy on, “Mi Seh (Remix)”. The original track has been making its rounds since Govi premiered it a month ago, and with Jada’s feature, the track’s going to take over more spaces this summer. If you loved the energy they emitted on “Pull Over” and “Better Than That”, “Mi Seh (Remix)” will be your favourite. The weather may be a bit gloomy wherever you are, but this track will keep the temperatures toasty. Jada Kingdom is still working her “Just A Girl” EP, while Govana is working on expanding the “Bobby Lane Project“. He is currently holding one of the top spots on the recently-released “Hill & Gully Riddim“. What a way to start your week.
