.@Skillibeng Drops Surprise “I’ll Never Die” EP!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Dancehall Artist Skillibeng has been having one of his best years yet. With his music taking him to big stages like Rolling Loud, Something In The Water, and the Wireless Festival, Skilli found the formula to put his music on a Plane, and watch it take off. With collaborations from the likes of DJ Khaled, Ice Spice, WSTRN, and Mura Masa, the world is there for the taking for Skillibeng, and he’s locked in. Earlier today, he surprised everyone with the release of his “I’ll Never Die” EP.

Currently a Youtube exclusive, Skillibeng’s “I’ll Never Die” EP features 5 tracks, and may just be a teaser to a new album. Nothing groundbreaking from Skillibeng here, as he has been tapping into more of the Trap Music/Drill vibe on previous efforts. Overall, his flow is still unique, and he’s not fixing what’s not broken. Though this is not the first time Skillibeng has done surprise releases, the project can hold listeners over until the announcement of even more music. At the end of the day, it’s new Skillibeng, so get familiar!

Laden Shares His “Jailhouse Story”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

It’s never easy when life is spent behind bars. While some may have the privilege of treating it like a “home away from home“, others are not so lucky. Dancehall Artist Laden, who was enjoying life in music, had to face the consequences of his action when he was sentenced to 4 years for illegal gun possession, and 18 months for possession of ammunition. His presence may be missed on the scene, but he holds on through the new track, “Jailhouse Story“.

Produced by Armzhouse Records, Laden takes us to the day he was locked up, to his current state behind bars. While he shared some of what has been happening including missing out on his daughter’s graduation, he is sorry that life has lead him to this situation. He acknowledges that he is missed by friend, family, and fans, and he emphasizes that “Freedom is a must“, with him returning to the outside world soon. Despite what got him there, we hope Laden is keeping it together, and staying creative.

Chronic Law Shares His Pain On “Scars From War”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Dancehall Artist Chronic Law has seen and experienced a lot in his lifetime. While some days are good, they are temporary as he has experienced a great deal of pain that it’s hard to heal from. He uses the music as a form of therapy, and he shares his pain on, “Scars From War“.

With a video directed by Glimpse Cinema, Chronic Law sheds a few tears on the Droptop Records produced “Scars From War”. He reflects on some of the things he has done, and while he may have done some wrong for a better life, he lost some good people along the way, and it has changed him completely. He pleads to God to spare the lives of his friend that are still present as his heart cannot take another loss. The video finds Chronic Law mourning the dead in a black suit, then sending them off while wearing a white suit. War comes at a hefty price, and though battles may be won, the loss of life makes everything feel less victorious. Pray for the fallen Soldiers, and for those who are suffering, try to seek help today.

Intence Sees No Competition On “Ring”!

Posted on by swadedavillain

Dancehall Artist Intence (who celebrates his birthday today (October 3)) has been enjoying a respectable run thanks to singles that keep him on the trending lists, and on many radars. Despite his stances and lyrical content, he manages to command a loyal following, and has not let controversy slow him down. While he continues to add stamps to his Passport, there are some who wish to put him back on ground level. They can try, but they aren’t on his level, and he shares a bit about that on the Claims Records produced, “Ring“.

With a video directed by The Knemesis, Intence doesn’t see competition of any form. He keeps his head above the clouds, stuck in his ways, and you just have to respect it. He shares some details in his everyday life, and while there are disgruntled people who want to cease his success, he sips on his Ribena mixed with Ginseng, keeps a few dead people in his pockets, and maintains his focus on success. Intence has been staying busy with the music these past few weeks, and while the “Yeng Boss” had to send a few shots at opponents in musical feuds, he’s ready to end 2022 on a high. Do not count Intence out!
