On the night of Friday January 24, the Parish of Manchester was the stage for Deejays and Singers to perform at the first staging of the “Born To Shine Talent Search“. Organized by Texroy Elliott and the Born To Shine Committee and held at the Mandeville Primary & Jnr High School, a lot of potential stars showed up to secure the ultimate prize, $1 Million in cash, and a Record Deal. Elephant Man Brings the Party With DJ Mac-Produced “Turn & Twist”

Dancehall Artist Elephant Man celebrates 30 years in music this year. The Deejay has a plethora of hits, and he continues to channel his energy into the world through music, dance, and live performances. He has become a legend in the Dancehall scene, and has inspired many in it. Expect a lot to happen with the Deejay this year, and he kicks off things with, “Turn & Twist“.

Securing another collaboration with DJ Mac/Crash Dummy, Elephant Man brings the party on “Turn & Twist”. He goes for the ladies on this as he admires the way they look and move. There’s nothing like the Women dancing in the party, and “Turn & Twist” is just one of the releases to get things started. Ele amplifies the single with a Music Video directed by LCRJ Media, and you’re instantly joining in the party with the patrons, dancers, and liquor. Make “Turn & Twist” your anthem, and add to your 2025 party Playlist. To see Elephant Man maintaining a presence for 30 years is quite the feat, and we hope fans and members of the music fraternity give him his flowers.

Skeng "Black Rain" on 13thStreetPromotions.com #Jamaica #Dancehall #Music #13thStreetPromotions #Skeng #RattyGang #BlackRain #RattyGang #RaheemWidDiBook #Caribbean

Skeng Brings The Wrath In “Black Rain”

Dancehall Artist Skeng had a great 2024 that found him being on the road a lot, and releasing a number of singles. He even shared the stage with Vybz Kartel at the recent “Freedom Street” event. He continues to bring the energy in 2025, and the badness with the new single, “Black Rain“.

Produced by DJ Mac/RaheemWidDiBook, Skeng lets his opps know that he will cause problems for them in “Black Rain”. The Ratty Gang boss gets aggressive here, and just like the intro, expect plenty violence as things didn’t go well for the last person who opposed. For those who think they have what it takes, the Ratty Gang is not about the play play. Fans of the Deejay can find him on the road in the coming days. Expect more music as well, and they will bring that “gvnman” energy.

Flippa Moggela Calls Out Broke Dons In “Wah Gwaan Bout Yah Man”

There are people with money, and then there’s Flippa Moggela. The self-proclaimed “Flossing King” has solidified his place in Jamaican music as one of the richest Dancehall Artists, and his catalogue of “Flossing Music” along with his flashy lifestyle showed people that he could back up his many statements. He had a run in the mid to late 2000s before doing some time behind music. Now enjoying freedom, he’s determined to get his career back to the level of prominence, and has been busy with new music and live performances. Recently, he called out a few fakes in “Wah Gwaan Bout Yah Man“.

Produced by DJ Mac/Flip Money Records, Flippa Moggela gets at fake flossers in “Wah Gwaan Bout Yah Man”. In true “Flossing King” fashion, he stays distant from the “Broke Dons“, and calls out those who like to talk a good game, but their pockets are suffering. The music video following the single features appearances by Dancehall personalities/Entertainers Big Wayne and Walk and Talk, and Flippa is see showing off the riches in various areas, while others are playing pretend in the streets. Good to see Flippa staying active in music in the 2020s after doing some time, let’s see what’s next for him as he builds back his Flossing Empire.
