Reggae Music owned a part of last night’s festivities and one artist to play her role was IKaya. Here she delivered a few of her singles, covered “Drunk In Love” and even had Brown Shuga accompany her for a song. Also a part of the “5 Fabulous Ladies” segment was Dancehall artist Tiana. Here she gave the audience some of her singles which included counteractions to popular songs, and also sending shots at IShawna. Short performance but Tiana did her thing. More performances to come. Making a triumphant return to Sting was the “Fire Man” Capleton. Commanding a great portion out of the event, Capleton ran through many of his top hits to much delight of the audience. With the fire ever blazing in his 20+ year career, the Prophet made sure patrons got their money’s worth. More performances to come. In the early morning of Sting 2014, two of the most anticipated clashes happened with Black Ryno vs Kiprich and Tommy Lee Sparta vs Gage. With some delays things kicked off with Tommy Lee Sparta vs Gage with Ryno joining in. Following this was Black Ryno vs Kiprich which went on for a while till it got physical and abruptly ended the Dancehall/Reggae event. Good to see that Tommy Lee and Gage didn’t get physical but I was disappointed in the Ryno/Kiprich altercation. More performances to come. One of the top performances of the event came from Dancehall artist Demarco. The “Good Book” Deejay went through many of his old and new hits, commanded his audience and even brought on dancers to demonstrate the very popular “Puppy Tail” dance. I was hoping he and Masicka would start a clash but as stated in a previous post they were involved in an altercation backstage. Performing as a part of the “5 Fabulous Ladies” section was DownSound Records artist IShawna. In a very sexy get up, she got down to perform her hit singles and even danced with a midget. Despite being called out by previous female acts, IShawna didn’t take any of them on and worked the stage.
