New York basedĀ Jamaican Producer/ArtistĀ L Razor is upbeat ahead of hisĀ latest project, Shanti Riddim.Ā Slated to be released on September 16 on his Straight Hit RecordsĀ Imprint, theĀ RiddimĀ boasts an all-female cast.Ā āThis project has such a high expectation on it because of all the hard work it tookĀ to get eight great hard-working female Artists on one Riddim. The female Artists have been fighting for their place in the male-dominated DancehallĀ Industry. That is why I decided to put a stop to it and put the ladies on theĀ forefront of Dancehall, so the Industry can be balanced properly,ā said L Razor.
The acts featured on Shanti Riddim are Macka Diamond, Tiana, Candiesha,Ā Sekklez, Beme Mystique,Ā Trudiva, Semonita, and Rhythm Piink.Ā The set will be available on all digital outlets.Ā The producer said a medley video is in the works.Ā āWeāre set to drop two medley videos of all the Artists showcasing their songs.Ā One medley was shot in New York, while the second is be shot in Jamaica nextĀ week,ā he said.
L Razor (given name Sheldon Thomas) hails from Portmore in St Catherine. HeĀ migrated to the United States in 2000.Ā As a Dancehall Deejay, he gained attention with Buss It Pon Dem in 2008. HisĀ other tracks includeĀ Mad A RoadĀ and Watch Me Nuh.

Talk up di tings dem, talk it out! TodayĀ Danielle D.I. and Tiana released the music video for what will be a huge hit for them. Titled “Talk It Out” and directed by Carlington Wilmot of OutARoad Pictures and shot in Glitzzy Hair Store and the Palisadoes Strip, we are tuned into “Sexy TV” as D.I. and Tiana ooze hotness throughout the scenes while dropping ear opening lyrics. Great video here and it is even better than I’ve imagined it to be. This video will definitely be a treat for the guys as the ladies do drop some sexy moves and show off body suits that’ll be a mainstay in many thoughts.
