There has been talks about Dancehall Artist Masicka dropping his 3rd album this year, and the signs are there. From new music releases, to live appearances, the Deejay is at work, and we know he wants to follow up his much-loved first two albums in the best way possible. The year started with a few singles, and now he’s “Boasty” with it.

Directed by Shane Creative, Masicka is all about living it up in excess and more in the visual for, “Boasty”. He shares some of his accomplishments, and he can’t help but enjoy the spoils of his work. From the Women, to the cars, to the Jewelry, to living better than ever, the Deejay stands tall with his statements, and holds the fort like the leader he is. Directed by Bronco for Siqest and ShotVideo Production and shot in Trench Town, Bass Benjo hits the streets with great energy in the video for, “Trumpet”. With the attention the single has gotten on Social Media, he shows love to some of the users who posted videos in support. In the streets, he dances, shares good energy, and builds the right vibe in the community. “Trumpet” was produced by Bronco/Stryka Lanz for New Wavez Entertainment. Augustus Pablo’s “King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown” Featured In “How To Make A Killing” Film


How has it been movie lovers? What’s the new screening that you’re obsessed with? Recently, Movie Studio A24 released their latest Film, “How To Make A Killing“. Directed by John Patton Ford, the Film stars Glen Powell as a Man who was disowned by his wealthy family at birth, and plots ways to get what is deserved to him, even if it means taking out some family members in the process. The Film features a mix of new and old music of various genres, but a familiar sound from Jamaica could be heard in a scene.

During a scene in the Film, “How To Make A Killing”, the familiar sound of a Melodica played by Musician/Producer Augustus Pablo could be heard along with some Reggae/Dub production. What was heard was Augustus Pablo’s “King Tubby Meets Uptown Rockers” from 1974. The Dub version of Jacob Miller’sBaby I Love You So” which was produced by Pablo, was a collaboration between Pablo and King Tubby who was the Mixing Engineer. The track was released a number of times including through the Mango Label, as a B-Side to Jacob Miller’s single, and later through Island Records. It was also featured on the 1976 album of the same name. The track was previously featured in Grand Theft Auto 4, and is Rolling Stone Magazine’sTop 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time“.

“How To Make A Killing” is out now.

It’s “Rabbit Season” For Feloni19 With New EP


It’s open season for new music, and Recording Artist Feloni19 is always ready with some. The young Artist has been on the scene for a while, and has steadily built his following. Formerly known as “Felony“, the Montego Bay native brings a “fwoce” that quickly found favour with listeners. After covering some ground, he puts “Rabbit Season” on the notice board with new EP.

Featuring 8 tracks, Feloni19 is on the hunt with his debut EP, “Rabbit Season”. One of the newer members of the Trap Dancehall movement, he taps into familiar tropes here, but his delivery aims to connect with listeners. Known for “Force Lakka Rabbit“, “44305“, and the recent “Duppyman Style” with Skippa, the new EP is packed with enough material that will become favourites for the fans. Production on “Rabbit Season” includes the likes of DJ Mac, Cash Code, Lonzo Records, YV Entertainment, and Luwige Records. It’s Spring, and the hunt is on.
