Mixtape Movements: @Danandi_Bryco – Mr. Nutt’n Ordinary Mixtape

Posted on by swadedavillain

ANDY2

Many artists are out there striving to be clones of one another, but deejay Da’Nandi states he’s nothing ordinary in his debut mixtape. Titled “Mr. Nutt’n Ordinary” and mixed by DJ Romie, this features 17 tracks with production from the likes of DJ Glama, Weapon X Intl., and Red Square Productions, Da’Nandi makes this his proper introduction to the music world. With a few features from Dangermatic, Xyclone, Kala and Omiel, he makes sure it isn’t overcrowded to take away his moment. Should be a good listen if you’re a regular listener of the artist or a first timer. Check out the mixtape below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Collage

Today I bring two videos for the price of one. Konshens has been making waves lately with not only his singles but with his new line of footwear under the brand Konz876. His new videos are titled “Big People Ting” and “How We Living” and were directed by RD Studios. In “Big People Ting” we see Konz being surrounded by bikes, fire, and beautiful dancing ladies in a party setting. Very exciting video and this single has been one of those burning up the airwaves recently. In “How We Living” we see the “SubK Cam” filming Konshens and his friends living it up from having dinner at fancy restaurants, interacting with fans, Yachting, popping bottles, and launching the Konz876 sneakers. We see cameos and short clips from other entertainers and affiliates of Konshens talking about coming from nothing to making something happen in their lives. Great efforts from the artist and this should hold you over till the next wave of videos are released. Check out them out below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

On Saturday October 5, 2013 another set of players took their talents to “South Beach“. #PayAttention, the premier Hip Hop event, gave patrons another opportunity to see and hear what the island has to offer. Held at Club Indulge (upstairs South Beach Cafe) and hosted by T.S.D. (The Sickest Drama) who also was a performer, the line up of Slo Mo, B.P.M. (SOS Dynamikz, Lady Livi and Traverse), and Mario Evon were given their time to shine. With Inztinkz and DJ Fatalic providing the tunes before, during and after PayAttention,  the night started off with Slo Mo showing us that while he has the slow flow, he had a gang of lyrics and extra special flow just in case. His set, which featured some lyrical songs and something for the ladies in attendance, he managed to have the audience listening to his lyrics which were well received. After finishing his set with a freestyle over Drake’s “Pound Cake”, it was singer Mario Evon’s turn. Mario, who was accompanied with a guitarist, belted out a couple cover songs which included Bob Marley & Lauryn Hill’s “Lights Down Low” before unleashing some originals. The highlight of his performance came when he brought his lady on stage and sang to her to much enjoyment from the crowd. Showing he had what it takes, he managed to wow the crowd with his singing abilities.
