Tonight, Rapper Five Steez welcomes one and all to his home with his new video, “Welcome“. Directed by Nathan Cowan of Caribbean Films with assistance from Bubbla G, Rocket Media and The Talent Inc., this was shot in Half Way Tree and Trench Town. Here Steez drops lyrics about his hometown, the activities that take place daily and of course give a history lesson on some of the children who grew up from there to play an influential part in the development of Hip Hop and the popularity of Reggae Music. We also get cameo appearances from some who play a part in the growth of the “First Coast” Hip Hop Movement. Great video here and I like the take on the black and white video with coloured accents.
