NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @TommyLeeSparta

TLS

Since his debut, Tommy Lee Sparta has been through a few things. From meeting in an accident to troubles with the law to suspicions of him crying in a recorded phone conversation, Tommy Lee stepped on Onstage to have a chat with Winford Williams. Here he spoke about the recorded conversation, Vybz Kartel, his career so far and squashing talks of his popularity dying down, touring and his experiences, his situation in Dominica, new music including an album and tracks being a part of projects overseas, his fan base, and more. Tommy also premiered his “Dream” music video. Was he taking a shot at Alkaline with him not being the youngest but the baddest line? I do hope Tommy Lee can overcome his current situations and continue to work on his career. Check out the videos below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

PopWith his name being spread to a larger audience and a debut album on the way, Popcaan has come a long way from being a former member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire. Tonight he had a chat with Winford Williams about the things that are going on in his life. Here he spoke about his former boss’ guilty verdict and sentencing, gaining popularity overseas and his experiences, staying away from conflicts and being a big part of his family, his debut album “Where We Come From“, and his upcoming performance in Jamaica. Winford Williams also gave Popcaan some words of encouragement in the end and I also liked how he spoke about his little brother’s progress. SRRecently Deejay Shabba Ranks made a visit to Jamaica but during his short stay he managed to do what he hasn’t done locally in decades…record music. Traveling with a mob in Half Way Tree, Winford Williams managed to catch Shabba to speak on a few things. Here Shabba spoke about being in Jamaica to celebrate Mother’s Day, recording in Jamaica for the first time in many years, visiting his old communities, his views on Dancehall recently including the conviction of Vybz Kartel, family life, and possibilities of performing in Jamaica again. Good to see Shabba still doing his thing and his new single sounds great from the preview that was provided. Get together that “Gorilla Money” promoters. NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @RynoDiStinger

RDSAfter leaving the Portmore Empire, many thought Black Ryno would’ve faded away from the Dancehall scene. In efforts to not fade away he was a part of Sting 2012 where things got ugly between he and former Gaza brethren Popcaan. In 2013 he redeemed himself on that stage by defeating Kiprich in a war of words. Since then the question has been, “What has Ryno been up to?” and he answered on Onstage. He spoke about the projects he has been working on, Sting 2012 and 2013, thoughts on the Vybz Kartel verdict and sentencing, why he left the Portmore Empire, defending his Clash title at Sting 2014, and previewed new music. Looking forward to hear more work from Black Ryno as he was one of the artists I’ve looked out from the Gaza camp.
