Admit it, you still have Chronixx’s “Cool As The Breeze/Friday” on repeat. You should be as it’s one of the hottest songs out. Chronixx knew what he was doing when he released this track in the summer. Going further with it, he makes his 3rd official appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with a performance of the track.

Though not sharing the “Fallon Tonight” set, Chronixx performs the track straight from Jamaica accompanied by Evan Mason a.k.a. Evan Keyz, and a “criss” Toyota Corolla! Handling it in one take, Chronixx dazzles, and continues to raise his flag for Jamaican music. Imagine the reception from the crowd if he was to perform this at a stage show? Leno Banton is in a “Mr. Loverman” mood, and today he’s reaching out to the ladies on his latest single, “Brown Sugar“! Teaming up with Kenyan Producer Jeff Kaale, Leno turns up the charm as he weaves line after line, and flow after flow to have the ladies swaying throughout the duration of the track. With sweet melodies by Kaale backing up the lyrics, this is gonna be a favourite, and a track that’ll keep the speakers red hot! Adding to the single’s style is the artwork that was compiled by Jamaican creatives, The RAAS Collective. Here you can find Leno Banton channeling the late Jimi Hendrix as a part of RC’s Cycle 70’s Magazine feature. “Brown Sugar” joins the list of recently released singles that are sure to keep you entertained all Summer 2020.

Getting back into the groove this year, Leno Banton has been steadily dropping new music. While no announcement of a new project yet, we just know Leno & Co. are cooking up something amazing. With the track receiving steady airplay and a music video doing well, it was only right they gave the single even more life. With that in mind, they recruited one of Dancehall’s newest wordsmiths in Skillibeng for the “Young Boss (Remix)“!

With Bouchard F. Olivier and Dennis “Greatest” Hamilton’s production still doing its thing here, the trio joined forces to give a song that continues to motivate the youth to get on their grind, and make amazing things happen in the world. With the wordplay from “Mr. Universe“, the melodies from “The Immortal Steppa“, and the energy from the new “Youngest Veteran“, speakers everywhere will be pounding the “Young Boss (Remix)” for a long time to come.

Recording Artist HeartBreakQuotey was a young legend in Toronto, Canada. For those who knew him, he was always making things happen, and lit up the scene. An artist who stayed on the grind over the years, he gave listeners a style that wasn’t like anyone else’s. Sadly, he passed away recently, and to keep his name alive, his brother and Producer DJ Blkluos released the project called, “2 Fly 2 Be Broke“.

Featuring 12 tracks, listeners will get a chance to learn what goes on in the mind of HBQ. With production from DJ Blkluos, Ryan Whiskey, and JaymeFromThe9, we get a dose of throwback Hip Hop, Trap, and R&B sounds that do a great job of backing up HBQ’s lyrics. The mixtape also has guest appearances from DopeFa$e, Enaledge, 73V1NN, Jane Doe Smith, and Joe Law who made sure it was extra fire. While death may affect us in various ways, it’s always best to cherish to good times of the ones you’ve lost. For new and old fans of HeartBreakQuotey, we ask you like him live on through the music. R.I.P. HBQ 🙏🏽
